Add a Tag

Hi crafters.

I hope you are all keeping well!  These weeks are flying by aren't they - can't believe we're in the middle of November already!

Well it's also time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and our lovely Kitty has chosen the fab theme of 'Add a Tag'.  We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World 101 this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store.

The Design Team were lucky enough to have one of their gorgeous images for our cards this week and I chose this one called 'Rudy'.

I decided to create a little scene on a tag so I coloured Rudy in with my promarkers and had fun adding die cut trees and creating a snowy landscape!  These die cuts were also inked and glittered.  I stamped the leaves with a stamp which was a freebie in a magazine and glittered these as well! I added some red berries and a gingham ribbon to the tag and also added a pom pom trim along the bottom.  I embossed the background with a snowy embossing folder  and added a couple of snowflakes and holly to finish off.  Well that's another Christmas card done anyway - just need to make a lot more now!!
I hope you're able to join in with this week's challenge.  I'm sure, like me, you're finding crafting a great way to forget about everything going on the world at the moment.
Don't forget, to be eligible for the prize draw, you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

Go Dotty

 Hi crafters.

I've chosen the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've gone with the theme 'Go Dotty'.  You can use dotty papers, add dots when colouring or they can be dotty embellishments - a nice and easy challenge.

We are kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a $6.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I love using dotty papers and I've gone with a black and yellow theme for my card.  I don't normally use black when colouring but I felt it was needed for her wings.
I used a layout that we used in one of our workshops and all the papers have been edged with distress inks.  I also added some dots on her wings with a white gel pen.  I added lots of glitter  after colouring her with my promarkers but the photo doesn't pick that up!  I die cut some flowers and coloured them with distress inks and added a black gem to their centres.  I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and got the heat gun out - I've seen this on a lot of cards lately so I decided to give it a go!
I really hope you can find some crafty time to enter this week's challenge.  Don't forget, it doesn't have to be a card - just remember to use your Letraset products and follow the theme.

We are also looking for new members to join the Design Team to start in the new year.  If you are interested, if you could add DT to your names that would be great.  It's a fab design team to be a part of so why not join in with the fun!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations on your blogs.
Hugs, Karen x

Use a die/punch

 Hi crafters,

Hope you are all keeping well.  We have a great new challenge for you this week at Passion for Promarkers and our lovely Elaine would love to see your creations using a die/punch.

We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's HOS this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store.  They have a fantastic selection to choose from and you'll be spoilt for choice with this fab prize!

The Design Team have all used one of their brilliant images this week so have a look at their gorgeous creations for some great ideas!
I have used this image called 'Best Seat in the House'

I decided to create a scene that looked like a front room with the backing papers as the wallpaper!! I coloured the image with my promarkers and this dog is just fab!   I printed a lamp from one of Lisa's CD's and added some matching paper to the lampshade,  The sentimemt is also from the CD and I tried to make it look like a picture on the wall!  I don't know whether I succeeded but that's what I had in my mind anyway!!
A couple of die cut stars and a corner die were the finishing touches to this masculine card which I was quite pleased with - something a bit different anyway!!

Well I  hope you have some crafty time to be able to join in with this week's challenge and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Hi crafters,

It;s time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week. Nat has given us the fab theme of 'hobbies/pastimes'.  Nat would like to see your creations featuring hobbies and pastimes that you  (or whoevr you are making the card for!) enjoy.

We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store.

We were lucky enough to have one of their fab images to use on our cards this week and I made this one for my niece who has just started at Leeds University,  She just loves to read and so this image called 'Time to read' was just perfect to make her a Good Luck card!

I found some lovely papers to use from my stash and coloured the image with my promarkers with coordinating colours.  I diecut the flower from the same papers and added some white leaves go with it.  Some gingham ribbon and some enamel dots were the finishing touches to my card - I also added the University logo to make it a little bit more special!

Don’t forget you can enter any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  Remember as always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Wedding/Anniversary/Love

 Hi crafters,

Our lovely Linda has chosen the theme for the brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week.  Linda would love to see your Wedding/Anniversary/Love creations - nice and easy as it covers so many occasions!

We are kindly sponsored by Bugaboo and they are offering the lucky winner a  $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  All the Design team have used one of their images to give you some inspiration for the prize you could win!

I made a card for my brother and sister-in-law's Wedding Anniversary using 'Love Blocks Two Hearts' - such a cute image with a sentiment included!
Those cute birds were coloured with my promarkers and I added lots of glitter on the swrirls!  I die cut all the flowers and used my oxide inks to colour the centres.  The leaves were also coloured with my promarkers so that everything co-ordinated.  The papers were from my stash and I added some twine behind the flowers to give some texture.  This is another photo showing how the card looked when opened.

I hope you'll be able to join in with this challenge - crafting certainly helps to take your mind off things and is so good for the soul!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs,
Karen x

 Hi crafters,

It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Kitty has given us the fab theme of 'Autumn.Fall'.

We are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die For and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Dies to Die For

I couldn't wait to try out some new stamps that were a freebie with a magazine and perfect for making a card with an Autumn theme!!

I stamped a variety of leaves as well as a pine cone and even some mushrooms and coloured them with my promarkers.  I also added a couple of Tim Holts Wild Flower dies and also coloured them to match my theme.
I stamped a text on the background and added some orange distress ink to show behind the bouquet,  I then stamped the sentiment onto some velum and wrapped it around the card front.  A bow and some enamel dots were the finishing touches to my card!  This was something a bit different for me and I hope you like it!
Please join in with our challenge this week - it's such a great prize and you just need to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Buttoms and/or Bows

Good morning crafters,

It's my turn to choose the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I'd love to see your creations with 'Buttons and/or Bows'.  We are kindly sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online stores.  Their images are absolutely gorgeous and I've used one of them on my card this week.

Crafty Sentiments Designs

I've used one of their gorgeous digis called 'Couples' for my Anniversary card.

I loved colouring this image with my promarkers - these little bears are so cute!  I used a layout from one of our workshops (which I really miss!!) and found some matching papers in my stash.  The flowers are all diecut and I punched out the leaves from the same card.  A stamped sentiment and some glitter here and there were the finishing touches as well as the little bow, of course!

I hope you can find some time to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget to use your Winsor and Newton products (formely Letraset) and follow the theme.

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Hugs, Karen x
