Mega Christmas Challenge

Hi crafters,

This week, a very special “Mega Christmas challenge” is being launched over at Passion for Promarkers which runs for a whole month and ends on 7th January 2020!  Both design teams have worked extremely hard once again this year and are having a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards.  However to make up for the lack of challenges there are some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

The very simple theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “anything goes”.  You are welcome to make Christmas creations but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation.  As time is precious for the DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for the prizes you must use your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers.  Please can you help by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x

So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

Dies to Die For are offering 1 lucky winner a £15.00 gift voucher

All Dressed Up stamps are offering 1 lucky winner 2 digi images

Wow I'm are sure you’ll agree our sponsors have been super generous once again this year!

Here is my card for this mega challenge.

I love this gorgeous stamp and I added some extra colour to the image with my promarkers.  I cut the oval out and layered the frame on foam pads.  I embossed the layer behind the image and added lots of glitter!!  I die cut and inked the poinsettias, added a gem to the centres and added some leaves and pearls.  I also die cut and inked some trees and added a button to the centre of the bow.
I think I might make a few more of these as the image is so lovely, you don't really have to add much else to the card!
Well I hope you can find some crafty time over the Christmas break to join in with thi mega challenge and be in with a chance of winning one of these prizes.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and all the very best for the New Year,
Hugs. Karen xxz

'3 or more layers'

Hi crafters
Well these weeks are flying by and it's time for a brand new challenge again at Passion for Promarkers.  Our lovely Kitty has given us the fab theme of  '3 or more layers' so nice and easy this week!  We are kindly sponsored by 'A Day for Daisies' and they are offering the lucky winner a £12 voucher.
ADFD

I've used one of their gorgeous digis called 'Pearls in my Hair' and she's been coloured in with my promarkers.

I've used papers from 'The Works' and used a layout inspired by Ella's Designs.  I've added glitter to the birds and added some coordinating ribbon.  I've used a peel off to edge one of the layers and also added a string of gems across the top of the card.  I added a sparkly button to the ribbon and then walked away before I added any flowers etc to the card!!!  Hope you like it anyway!
If you're making your Christmas cards at the moment this would be a great challenge to enter!  Don't forget, it doesn't have to be a card - just remember to use your promarkers and follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen xxx

Ribbons/Bows

Hi crafters
It's my turn to host the challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week and I've chosen the nice and easy theme of  'Ribbons or Bows'.  It could be your Birthday or Christmas cards so why not join in with my challenge and be in with a chance of winning a great prize!
We are kindly sponsored by Uniko Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner 1 stamp set from their online store (which must be in stock).

Uniko Stamps

This is a card I made for my niece for her 18th Birthday last week.  Sophie loves greeting everyone with a hug so I thought this image and sentiment was perfect for her!!

The image is by Stamping Bella and I've used my promarkers to colour it in.  I found some papers to match my colour scheme and die cut the flower from the same papers too.  I added a black die cut border which I then almost covered completely!!  Some glitter (of course) and the polka dot ribbon were the finishing touches.  I hope she liked it anyway!
I hope you can find a bit of crafty time to join in with my challenge this week and I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your lovely creations.  Remember, it doesn't have to be a card - just make sure you use your promarkers and follow the theme!

See you soon,
Karen xx

Use Something Old

Hi crafters,
I'm away visiting my boys this week in Norwich and Lincoln! Great excuse for a little holiday and a chance to explore these 2 lovely cities!
I made my card for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers before leaving and the theme this week is 'Use Something Old'.
We are kindly sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs and they are offering the lucky winner  a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I've made a leaving card for someone at work who loves sewing, especially quilting.
I used an old House Mouse stamp which I coloured with my Promarkers.

I added squares of patterned paper and added some faux stitching to look like quilting. I added some buttons and a wooden scissor embellishments.  Some flowers and a bow finished off the card, I hope she liked it anyway!
Please join in with this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers if you can! All you have to do is use your Promarker products and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations soon.
Hugs, Karen xx

Add a Sentiment

Hi crafters
This week's challenge over at Passion for Promarkers has been set by our lovely Elaine and she would like you to 'Add a Sentiment' to your creations this week - nice and easy!
We are kindly sponsored by The Paper Shelter who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

The Paper Shelter

All the Design Team have used the same gorgeous digi from The Paper Shelter this week on their cards and she's called Ballerina

I've made a swing card this week using this gorgeous image,  I learnt how to make one at our last workshop and thought a bit of movement on the card would be ideal for this dancing ballerina!
The papers are from a pad I got at 'The Works' and all the edges have been inked with a distress ink.  The sentiment is Welsh for 'Happy Birthday' and I finished it off with some ribbon and pearls.
So why not enter one of your creations this week and be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!  Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous designs.
Hugs, Karen xx

Mythical Creatures

Hi crafters,
Hope you're all having a good week! My babies are both settled in Uni now so I've set up my craft room in their bedrooms!!  Miss them like mad but I may as well make use of their rooms hee hee!! It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Nat has chosen the fab theme of 'Mythical Creatures'.
We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.
All Dressed Up stamps
We were lucky enough to have one of their images to use on our cards this week and I've used this one which is called 'Little Flower Fairy'.

I loved colouring in this image - she is so sweet!  I found this colourful backing paper so decided to use the same colours on my flower fairy!  I die cut a frame and decided to keep my card clean and simple (shocking I know!!).  Well, I couldn't help adding one flower in the corner - especially when I found a button in the exact same colours as my card!  I stamped a sentiment next to the image and added a couple of enamel dots and then I walked away from it before I added anything else!
I hope you can join in with the challenge this week,  Don't forget to use your promarkers and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

'Use 3 of something'

Hi crafters,
Well I'm throwing myself into some crafting again as both of my boys have left home for Uni!  You kinda get used to them being home over the summer and then they leave again - it doesn't seem to get any easier :(
Aw well - thank goodness there's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers for me to focus on!  Our lovely Lorraine has given us the fab theme 'Use 3 of something', nice and easy this week!  Could be 3 papers, flowers, pearls - anything you like!

We are kindly sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a $12 gift code to use in their online store.
Bugaboo
We were lucky enough to have one of their images to use on our cards this week and I've used this one called ''Flower ladybug love',

I've coloured the image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter on the flowers.  I coloured the punched leaves with the same green as the image and punched out some daisies to go either side!
Some enamel dots went in the centre of the flowers and I used my MS punch for the black border.  I added a little ladybird embellishment so then I had my 3 of something (ladybirds!)

So why not join in with this week's challenge and be in with a chance of winning some fab new digis from Bugaboo Stamps.
Remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme.  I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

'Add Buttons'

Hi crafters

Sorry for the late post today - had to go back to work after 6 weeks off and it was such a shock to the system that I forgot to do my blog!!
Anyway, our lovely Linda has chosen the brilliant theme of  'Add Buttons' this week, for our brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers.  Nice and easy as I think I probably add buttons to most of my cards!!

We are kindly sponsored this week by Cowling & Wilcox and they are offering one lucky winner a 6 pack of promarkers (pastel tones).

I've made this Welsh Birthday card for my computer mad son and this image was perfect for him!
I've used some monotone papers from 'The Works' and coloured the image with my promarkers.  I added a diecut silver star, some enamel dots and of course, some buttons!!  Buttons are always handy for those tricky male cards!

So why not join in with this fab challenge and be in with a chance of winning a great prize,  Don't forget, you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course follow the theme.

Colour of Love
I've used one of their lovely digi images on my card this week and this one is called  Li'l Ellie's Donuts Li'l Bellyfulls
The layout is inspired by Lisa and I've coloured the image with my promarkers. I've added lots of glitter to the icing and my sentiment, which says 'Enjoy Your Day' is inside the little envelope!  I've added a heart charm and some pearls here and there to finish off the card.

Flower Power

Hi crafters,
I've chosen the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and it's 'Flower Power'. A nice and easy theme so you can enter your creations with flowery papers, flowers on an image or punched/die cut flowers - the choice is endless!
We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up  this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Fairy Swing'.
I've coloured the image with my Promarkers and added a touch of glitter here and there!  I've added a die cut trellis to each side of the card and added some white punched flowers. I coloured the flowers with some chalk and did the same with the leaves.  I wanted the image to be the main focus so I kept the embellishments to a minimum!
I hope you'll be able to enter this week's challenge and I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your gorgeous creations!

'Food and Drink'

Hi crafters
Another week flies by and that means a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  Our lovely Jacky has chosen this week's theme which is 'Food and Drink'.
We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from the online store.
Image may contain: text that says 'eAn's World 10 Fan, sweet and cheerful digis fror ny World to yours.'
We were lucky enough to have one of the gorgeous digi images from Leann's World to play with this week and I've used this one called 'Martini'.
I've coloured the image with my promarkers and used a layout from a recent workshop (thanks Lisa!),
I used bits of papers that I've kept (just incase!!) and used various die cuts here and there.
I've inked the edges and added some pearls and flowers to finish off the card,  I've personalised it with my niece's name with some stickers that I thought went well with the colour scheme!
This card is on its way to America for Jess who's working at a summer camp, which is why I've had to keep it quite flat!  Hope it gets there in one piece anyway!!
Don't forget to join in with this week's challenge - you can enter any type of creation, just remember to use your Winsor & Newton products (formerly Letraset).
Good luck and I'll see you again soon!

'Flowers'

Hi crafters
Hope you've had a great week and are ready for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  Our lovely Lorraine has given us the fab theme of 'Flowers; this week so nice and easy!
We are kindly sponsored by Uniko Stamps  and the prize is 1 stamp set (which must be in stock)

Uniko Stamps
I finally got to use a window die that I've had for ages but have never got round to using!  So I took it out of the packaging at long last and decided to use it on this week's card!

I printed my digi image by the The Paper Shelter called ' My Little Garden' and coloured it with my promarkers.  I stamped the sentiment after I'd colouerd the image - mad fool that I am - could have ruined the whole card if I'd made a mistake!!
I then added the die cut window and put some polka dot paper behind it for curtains! I also added the top border on foam pads just to give the card some dimension.
I then added some punched flowers to the window box and put some small pearls in their centres.
Some glitter here and there finished off the card!
Well I hope you find some time to enter this week's challenge and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations,
Hugs, Karen xx

Four legged friends

Hi crafters,
These weeks are flying by aren't they?  That means it's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Nat has chosen the theme 'Four legged friends'.  We are kindly sponsored by Cowling and Wilcox who are offering the lucky winner a 6 pack of Metallic Markers,
Cowling & Wilcox
My four legged friends are these cute little sheep which I coloured up with my promarkers.  The grass stamp and die came with the set so it would have been rude not to use them!!
I embossed the die cut background with a heart embossing folder and inked all the edges with distress inks.  The picket fence die came out again and they got inked as well!! Some buttons, heart pearls and string were the finishing touches as well as a bit of doodling, as I felt it just needed something else! The stamped sentiment is also part of the set and is rather cute I thought!
Why not join in with this nice and easy challenge and be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
Remember you can enter using any type of creation but as always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers).
Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Make it pink!

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been set by our lovely Elaine and she would like you to 'Make it Pink' this week - nice and easy!
We are kindly sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox who are offering the lucky winner a 6 pack of Neon Markers.
Cowling & Wilcox

I've made a card using a layout we used at our recent workshop.  I coloured the flowers with my promarkers, inked the edges with some distress inks and added a little bit of glitter here and there!
I cut them out and then layered them onto white card.  The set was a freebie in a magazine and you get the dies to cut them out with as well - brilliant!

The papers are from 'The Works' and I finished it off with a ribbon and some pearls! I stamped a Welsh 'Happy Birthday' to the tag as well.
I hope you can join in with this week's challenge,  Don't forget to use your Letraset products to be in with a chance of winning this prize and of course, follow the theme!
See you soon!

Add gems/pearls

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers is 'Add gems/pearls' and has been chosen by our lovely Linda.  A nice and easy theme this week as they are the finishing touch to most cards I think!!  We are kindly sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox who are offering the lucky winner a 6 pack of Promarkers (skin tones set 1).
Cowling & Wilcox
I've made a Welsh New Baby card this week but I must apologise for the terrible photo - it's way too bright!
Anyway, I used my promarkers to colour this Magnolia stamp which is definitely one of my fav stamps for new baby cards!
The papers are from 'The Works' and I've added various diecuts using these papers.  Some flowers, ribbon and of course, pearls were the finishing touches!
Well I hope you can find some time to join in with this week's challenge and don't forget, you can enter any type of creation but you must use your Winsor & Newton / Letraset products and of course, follow the theme!

Anniversary Challenge

Hi crafters,
There's a special Anniversary challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week and the theme is 'Anything Goes'.  Both design teams are taking part so there's pleanty of inspiration for you!  There's some amazing prizes up for grabs too from the following sponsors:

Bugaboo
- offering a $12 voucher

Image may contain: text that says 'eAn's World 10 Fan, sweet and cheerful digis fror ny World to yours.'
- offering 2 digi images

Dr Digi's House of Stamps
: offering 2 digis

Crafty Sentiments Designs
: offering 3 digis

Di's Digi Stamps
: offering $6 voucher

Dies to Die For
: £15 voucher

Cowling & Wilcox
: offering a 12 pack of promarkers.

These are amazing prizes so be sure to enter this week's challenge.  Remember you can enter using any type of creation but as always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your
Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products.

My card this week is for my Dad's birthday and is a little bit different from me!  I wanted to have a go at making a background with my promarkers and this is what I came up with:

I created lines going across the card with my promarkers and just kept blending the colours until you couldn't see the lines!  I stamped the trees across the top and then used the stamp again without
re-inking for the reflection.  It's not quite correct as the reflection of trees doesn't match as I should have used acetate but I didn't have any!  I used some black ribbon and a sentiment to try and hide this and I think I got away with it.  Then again, I bet my Dad will notice as he was always my fiercest critic when it came to any artwork I did!!  It'll be interesting to see if he does spot it anyway!
I finished the card off with some doodling and a few enamel dots.  I think I might try this again as I have quite a few silhouette stamps that it would work with.

So why not join in with this special challenge this week and you never know, you could be in with a chance of winning one of these amazing prizes.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Hugs, Karen xx

Does anyone know what these are I wonder - it was a tree full of these unusual flowers!

I love making girly cards and so this one had to be pink with some lovely flowers as embellishments!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and added a touch of glitter here and there!  I stamped the small tags as well - these are so handy, must use them more often!!  A pearly pin. some dotty ribbon and some more pearls finished off the card!
