In The Garden

 Hi crafters,

Hope you are all well and ready for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers.

Our lovely Lisa G has chosen this week's theme and she would love to see your creations with things you would find 'In the Garden'.

We are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs and they are offering the lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this one is called 'giant daisies'.

I've made a CAS style card for this Anniversary card for my brother and sister-in law!  I've been inspired to try this technique and finally plucked up the courage to have a go!!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and fussy cut them out.  I inked a background for them using my distress inks and stamped the sentiment using the stamping platform.  I feel much more confident stamping onto the card using the platform - a brilliant invention!!
I attached the image using foam pads and then added a couple of enamel dots.  I was very brave making a CAS stye card as I find them really, really tricky but I managed to stop myself from adding anything else to the card!
I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with this week's fab challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but remember to follow the theme to be eligible for this great prize.
Hugs,
Karen x

 Hi crafters,

There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda has given us the fab theme of 'Birthstone Inspiration'.

We are kindly sponsored by Stampers Delights who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I've used one their gorgeous images on my card this week and she is called  'Chibi - fuchsia fairy'.

I coloured her in with my promarkers and added lots of glitter on her wings.  I inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink and added various diecuts here and there.  I also added some cute flowers that matched and stamped and fussy cut the sentiment.  My birthstone I should add is called Tourmaline which is a pinky colour!
I hope you're able to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but remember to follow the theme to be eligible for this week's fab prize.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs,
Karen x

Feminine

 Hi Crafters,

Can you believe it's the 1st of March already? We celebrate St. David's Day here in Wales today so 'Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus' to you all!

It is also time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers and our lovely Kitty has chosen the fab theme of 'Feminine' for you this week.

We are kindly sponsored by Colour of Love who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.  Their images are gorgeous and the Design Team have used some of them on their cards this week to give you some great inspiration.

I've used this gorgeous image called 'Cosmos' on my card this week.  She has been coloured with my promarkers and lots of glitter has been added here and there!

I  used one of my favourite colour combos of grey and pink and really enjoyed colouring it.  I diecut a stitched frame and some swirls as well as some lovely leaves to add on the side.  I stamped this gorgeous sentiment and added a few pearls on the corner of the frame.

I hope you'll be able to find some crafty time to join in with this week's nice and easy challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.

See you all soon!

Hugs, Karen x
