For a boy

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Wendy has given us the fab theme of 'For a boy'.  

We are kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a £6.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I made this new baby card for a friend using one of my favourite LOTV images.  

I've used a layout from a workshop which includes lots of layers and die cuts!  I stencilled the background on the left and added a diecut frame, stars and teddy bear!  I made an envelope and personalised the card inside with baby's name, date of birth and weight.  I added some co-ordinating papers in blue and green and added some enamel dots as the finishing touch!

Use a die

Our brand new challenge this week at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and she would love to see your creations using a die. A nice and easy challenge as I don't think I make many cards now without adding a die or two!

I've used one their images on my card this week and this one is called ''Happy Birthday Creator - Characters' Digital Stamp '

This was great fun to colour with my promarkers and I fussy cut her out and added lots of glitter.  I added a pink background with my distress inks and added some white splatter to add texture.  I added some doodling around the edges as well as a die cut frame.  Some enamel dots and a couple of die cut flowers finished off the card!
