Add gems/pearls

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers is 'Add gems/pearls' and has been chosen by our lovely Linda.  A nice and easy theme this week as they are the finishing touch to most cards I think!!  We are kindly sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox who are offering the lucky winner a 6 pack of Promarkers (skin tones set 1).
Cowling & Wilcox
I've made a Welsh New Baby card this week but I must apologise for the terrible photo - it's way too bright!
Anyway, I used my promarkers to colour this Magnolia stamp which is definitely one of my fav stamps for new baby cards!
The papers are from 'The Works' and I've added various diecuts using these papers.  Some flowers, ribbon and of course, pearls were the finishing touches!
Well I hope you can find some time to join in with this week's challenge and don't forget, you can enter any type of creation but you must use your Winsor & Newton / Letraset products and of course, follow the theme!
Hugs,
Karen xx

Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products.

My card this week is for my Dad's birthday and is a little bit different from me!  I wanted to have a go at making a background with my promarkers and this is what I came up with:

I created lines going across the card with my promarkers and just kept blending the colours until you couldn't see the lines!  I stamped the trees across the top and then used the stamp again without
re-inking for the reflection.  It's not quite correct as the reflection of trees doesn't match as I should have used acetate but I didn't have any!  I used some black ribbon and a sentiment to try and hide this and I think I got away with it.  Then again, I bet my Dad will notice as he was always my fiercest critic when it came to any artwork I did!!  It'll be interesting to see if he does spot it anyway!
I finished the card off with some doodling and a few enamel dots.  I think I might try this again as I have quite a few silhouette stamps that it would work with.

So why not join in with this special challenge this week and you never know, you could be in with a chance of winning one of these amazing prizes.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Hugs, Karen xx

'Feminine'

Hi crafters,
Hope you've all enjoyed the lovely Bank holiday weekend!  We visited Chirk Castle and it's such an amazing place!  We enjoyed exploring the castle itself and the flowers we saw in the gardens were absolutely beautiful - well woth a visit!

Does anyone know what these are I wonder - it was a tree full of these unusual flowers!
Anyway, there's a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Kitty would love to see your creations with a 'feminine' theme.  Nice and easy this week - just remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products.
The prize this week is a 6 pack of promarkers so why not join  in with this challenge!
I love making girly cards and so this one had to be pink with some lovely flowers as embellishments!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and added a touch of glitter here and there!  I stamped the small tags as well - these are so handy, must use them more often!!  A pearly pin. some dotty ribbon and some more pearls finished off the card!
So why not join in with this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen xx
