Birthday Owl

Hi crafters,
I made this card for my eldest who's a real nature lover and this image from Lisa's CD was perfect.  I used the same layout as the pre designed card that's on the CD but changed the background papers for more masculine colours - all still from the Cd 'Animal Antics '.
You can just about see the glossy accent on his eyes I think and I added some glitter to the stars. You can add the text onto the owl which is a brilliant addition to the CD's, especially for Welsh cards!
I added some matching buttons,  something I tend to do with male cards I've realised!! Oh well, better than flowers I suppose!
I'd like to enter my card in the Scribble and Scrap challenge which is ' Anything Goes '.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Karen xx

Ooh, I made this the other day- my first ever crocheted teacosy!
I'm quite chuffed with myself as I'm still very much a beginner!
Can't wait to make more now and I've ordered my yarn ready lol!

Put your feet up!

Hi crafters,
I'm back with a male birthday card I've made this week and I've decided that male cards are still bloomin tricky! I used my trusted LOTV stamp and coloured it with my promarkers. I did add a tiny bit of glitter on the grass as I felt it needed it!!
I  used some text backing paper to match the newspaper in the image and I also used a text embossing folder. Some matching buttons and some twine finished off the card. The caption says "Put your feet up. ..on your Birthday" in Welsh.
I'd like to enter my card in the Crafting from the heart challenge which is ' Anything Goes '.
Thanks for dropping by

A lamb is born!

Hi crafters,
I made this for a friend in work who had a  baby boy recently and this little lamb was the perfect image!  It's a decoupage topper from the Plush Pals Cd by Ella's Design which was glittered, of course, with glossy accent added to the eyes.  The blue backing paper was printed from the Cd as well.
I've used a great layout that we used in our workshop and a few diecuts, ribbon and buttons finished off the card.
I'd like to enter my card in the Sister Act challenge which is Anything Goes.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Karen xx
