3 or more layers

Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week.  Our lovely Kitty has given us the fab theme of '3 or more layers'.  We are kindly sponsored by Star Jam Lines and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.  All the Design Team have used their images on their cards this week so be sure to pop over to the website for some great inspiration!

I've used one of their images and this was is called 'Gnome sits on a Flower'.  I thought it was really cute and so useful for so many occasions!   I coloured it with my promarkers and added lots of glitter to the butterflies (of course!!).  I die cut some daisies to match the flower in the image and coloured some leaves to match too.  I've used co-ordinating papers and added a pretty border across the centre.  I printed the welsh Happy Birthday sentiment and doodled around it after cutting them out.
I hope you are able to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember you can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be eligible for this week's prize.  I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

Spots and / or stripes

 Hi crafters,

There's a special Anniversary challenge this week at Passion for Markers with both Design Teams taking part and lots of amazing prizes from our very generous sponsors which include:

Uniko - 1 stamp set

Di's Digi Stamps - $6 voucher

Leann's World 101 - 2 digis

Polkadoodles - 3 digis

All Dressed Up - 2 digis

Colour of Love - 3 digis

Dies to Die For - £20.00 voucher

Crafty Sentiments - 3 digis

I've made a new baby card for a neighbour this week following the theme of spots and /or stripes.

I've used an image from LOTV and coloured it in baby blue colours with my promarkers.  I've added lots of glitter and used a circle die cut to mount it onto the card,  I've used some coordinating papers and added them in a patchwork style.  I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut it out and I added the baby's name on the banner to personalise the card.  Some diecut flowers and leaves as well as a few buttons were the finishing touches to my card.
Well I hope you're able to join in with this fab challenge.  I'm sure you'll agree that the prizes are amazing - just remember to use your markers and follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning!   I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

For the men / boys

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn to host the challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, I've chosen the theme of 'For the men / boys'. I know they can be a bit tricky but there are some great images out there now for the boys and men in our lives|!   There are some fab digi images at Lili of the Valley and they are kindly offering this week's winner a choice of 4 digi images from their online store.  There is something for everyone here and all their images are just fab!

I've used one of the LOTV images called 'Racing by' for my card this week which is a welsh Birthday card for my brother-in-law.

I coloured this gorgeous digi with my promarkers and found some backing papers to match my colour scheme.  I diecut some clouds, stars and banners and inked the edges with some distress ink.  I added a couple of brads to the banners too and the sentiment was done on the computer.
I really love the way this card turned out and I think I'll use this layout for male cards again!

Well I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with this week's challenge,  It's an amazing prize and remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning!
I look forward to seeing all your gorgeous creations.

Hugs, Karen x
