Hi crafters,
Hope all your Christmas plans are going well and that you're almost ready for the big day!
We launched our very special Mega Christmas challenge at Passion for Promarkers a couple of weeks ago and this will run up until 2nd January 2018 so you've got plenty of time to join in! The theme for this challenge is 'Add a Sentiment' so this can be any type of card - it doesn't have to be a Christmas card - just remember to follow the theme.
We are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge. Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products ie,promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers. Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.
We have some amazing prizes which you can see on my previous post and if you pop over to the blog you can see what all the Design Team members have created.
I've used a gorgeous little Penny Black stamp for my card and they are coloured with my promarkers. I created a little aperture for them to make them look as though they're carol singing outside!!
I'm not sure what the card shape is called but it goes flat to fit in an envelope. I didn't have any holly dies or punches so I cut these out of some patterned ribbon and added some red gems for the berries!
I stamped the sentiment and added some glitter and more gems here and there!
So why not join in with this great challenge and don't forget to follow the theme for a chance to win one of the amazing prizes. I can't wait to visit your blogs to see your gorgeous creations.
Thanks for dropping by and I'll see you again soon!
Hugs, Karen xx

'Use your favourite colours'
Hi crafters,
It's my turn to host the challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers and I've chosen a really easy theme - 'Use your favourite colours'. So it can be anything from your fav Christmas card colours or pastels, brights etc on any of your cards!
We are kindly sponsored by Lemon Shortbread this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digis from their online store.
Their images are amazing and the Design Team were lucky enough to have one of their images to play with, so make sure you check out their blogs to see their stunning creations!
I chose this image called 'Penguin Umbrella' and I really enjoyed colouring this in!
I used a layout from a recent workshop and the papers are from Anna Marie Designs called 'Christmas Jingle'. I've used my promarkers to colour in this cute little penguin and added some green distress ink to the trees. I've used my favourite Christmas colours of red, green and white - traditional at this time of year!! I added a few trees to create a little scene for the penguin and added a bow and a peel off to create a bauble effect! I added a couple of die cut snowflakes and I've added glitter to absolutely everything!! A button and some pearls were the finishing touch as well as a bit of gold ribbon across the edges of the paper.
Please join in with this week's challenge if you can, I can't wait to visit your blogs to see all your gorgeous entries.
Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card. As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme. Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’.

Hi crafters,
We have a great new challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers! Jacky has chosen the fab theme 'Let it Snow' which is great for all those Christmas cards we're making now, so make sure you join in with this great challenge!

I've used one of their gorgeous digi stamps called 'Snowman Bird House' and I really enjoyed colouring this image.
The papers are from Anna Marie Designs called 'Christmas Jingle' and I added lots of glitter to the happy little snowman (although it doesn't show at all!!).
I die cut the little trees and they were inked and glittered! The poinsettia is also a die cut which was inked and I added some berries and leaves. The sentiment was very kindly sent to me by a friend and it was the perfect finishing touch for my card! (Thanks again!)
Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to enter your creation into this fab challenge. Just remember to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation - thanks!

Shades of Autumn
Hi crafters,
Happy Halloween!! I love this time of year - I am a Halloween baby and I'm celebrating a special Birthday (50!!!!) this year! I've just come back from visiting my eldest in University and I'm off to visit my youngest who's just started at Uni, next weekend - the best presents I could wish for!
I also love this time of year for the Autumn colours - absolutely gorgeous! Love the leaves on this building - stunning!
It's also Tuesday which means a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers. This week's theme has been chosen by our lovely Elaine and she would like to see 'Shades of Autumn' on your creations. - nice and easy!
There are 2 fab prizes up for grabs this week and our first generous sponsor is Petal Lu and they are offering one lucky winner a 30% discount voucher to use in their online store. Their flowers are so beautiful so why not pop over to their store and check them out.
The second prize up for grabs is a 6 pack of promarkers so why not join in with this fab challenge and be in with a chance of winning these great prizes! Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card. As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.
I made a 'Thank you' card using my new stamp called 'Daisy Squidgy' from Stamping Bella which I coloured with my promarkers. I used a great new fold that we used at our last workshop and I'll definitely be using this fold again!
I made my own flowers to match the one in the image by using various punches and I punched some leaves out of white card and used my green promarkers so they matched the leaves in the image.
Here is another view showing the fold I've used on my card this week.
Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to visiting your blogs to see all your gorgeous creations.

Anything Goes
Hi crafters,
We've got a really great challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week. Donna has chosen the nice and easy theme - 'Anything Goes' and we are very kindly sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs, They are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digis from their online store. Their digis are all absolutely gorgeous and so this in an amazing prize! They have such an amazing range you'll be spoilt for choice!
We were lucky enough to have an image to use on our cards this week and I chose 'Emmi Loo - Just Me'.
She's been coloured in with my promarkers and I was determined to use another colour rather than pink for a change! I didn't realise I was such a pinky girl until recently!! Anyway, I chose purple and found some papers to match my colour scheme.
I added some purple ribbon (that you can just about see) and various die cuts like the butterfly, banner and border die. I added some WOC flowers, some small wooden hearts and some pearls to finish off the card. It's a fancy fold card (not sure what it's called) but I will definitely make some more in this style!
Well thanks for dropping by and don't forget to join in with this nice and easy challenge.
As always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.
See you next time! Hugs, Karen xx

Pretty in Pink
Hi crafters,
Well here we are in October already - whatever happened to September? Oh well, at least there's some gorgeous autumnal colours to see this time of year!!
It's also time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and our lovely Nat has chosen 'Pretty in Pink' as the theme for this week - nice and easy!
We are kindly sponsored by Little Miss Muffet Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a $6.00 voucher to spend in their online store. There's a great choice of digis to choose from and we were lucky enough to be given an image to use on our cards this week.
I've used the gorgeous image called 'Candy Floss Crew Ebony Winter' and I made a picture to hang instead of a card for a change! We made one in our last card workshop so I decided the image was perfect to make another one!

The Great Outdoors
Hi crafters,
I managed to find some time to craft eventually this weekend although it's been quite a traumatic week! My youngest has just left home to start University in Lincoln so I've not had much crafting time with getting everything ready for him! Oh well, must think on the bright side - I'll soon have 2 craft rooms when my eldest goes back to Uni in a fortnight! I'll need to craft permanently I think to keep my mind from worrying about them both!!
This week's fab challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been set by our lovely Lorraine C and she's chosen the nice, easy theme of The Great Outdoors',
We are kindly sponsored by Bugaboo and they are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store. Their images are gorgeous and great to colour in!
We were lucky to have an image to play with and this one is called 'kidz Daisy'
The image is coloured in using my promarkers and I added a touch of glitter here and there! I wanted the image to be the main focus of the card so I just cut some coordinating paper with my cloud border die. I used some black card to make the colours pop and I used a diecut sentiment as well - for a change! I almost added my usual flowers and ribbon but managed to stop myself!! Had to have something in the corner though didn't I so I allowed myself some matching buttons! I then walked away hee hee!!
So why not join in with this week's nice and easy challenge . Don't forget that to be eligible for the prize draw, you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers etc) and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your creations and look forward to visiting your blogs!

We are kindly sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter this week and they are offering the lucky winner a digi image from their online store. All their images are fab and you'll have lots to choose from.

We were lucky enough to have one of their images to play with this week and I chose 'Lucy's flowers' - she could be either a florist or a gardener I thought!
This image was great to colour in using my pro/flex markers and I really enjoyed doing the flowers! I matched her dress and ribbon to the polka dot paper and added some embossed card to the layers. I used my MS punch to add a border across the top and added a thin ribbon to match the terracotta pots! I added a punched flower and some tags I made using some new stamps I got at the last craft fair in Port Sunlight. I actually forgot I had them and found them whilst I was looking for something else!! I will definitely be using these again though!!
So why not join in with this week's fab challenge and remember to use your Winsor and Newton products in order to be eligible for the prize draw.
I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your gorgeous creations.!
Thanks for dropping by.

We were lucky enough to have an image to play with and I chose this gorgeous digi called 'Abi's Love'. I chose to use cream as my monochrome colour which meant keeping the colouring as simple as possible. I actually enjoyed keeping it as one main colour and will definitely use this theme again!
The papers are all from my stash and I punched some flowers out of these papers as well. The sentiment stamp came from a magazine freebie and I used a brown ink pad to keep everything in the same tone. I embossed the cream layer and all the edges have been inked with 'Antique Linen' Distress Ink. Some cream organza ribbon and a couple of small wooden hearts were the finishing touches to the card as well as a few pearls here and there!!
So why not join in with this nice and easy challenge this week. Remember, you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card. Just add Glitter!
Hi crafters,
It's my turn to host this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've chosen a nice and easy theme - 'Just add glitter'.
We are kindly sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week and they are offering the lucky winner a $10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
Their images are all gorgeous and we were lucky enough to have an image to use on our cards for this challenge,
The image I've used is called 'Playing under the Sea' and I really enjoyed colouring this one. I've used my promarkers as always and just added some glitter - of course!!
I found some shells to add to my card which I collected many years ago on my honeymoon (knew they would come in handy one day!!!) I don't know if you can see it but I've also added some cream spider's web (I think that's what it's called) just to give some texture to the card. Some WOC flowers and a sentiment finished off the card.
Here's a side image of my card so that you can see the glitter!
I really hope you can join in with this challenge and I look forward to visiting your blogs to see all your gorgeous creations. Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card and don't forget - to be eligible for the prize draw, you must use your Winsor & Newton products and follow the theme,

Use 3 patterned papers
Hi crafters,
I'm on holiday this week so I hope Mr Blogger is behaving today!
It's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and our lovely Jacky has chosen the theme 'Use 3 patterned papers'. We are kindly sponsored by Digital Stamp Boutique and they are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to use in their online store. I love all their images and so this is a wonderful prize to win so make sure you join us for this challenge.
I was lucky enough to use one of their fab images called 'Harry and Beer' and this is a Birthday card I've made for my brother.
I've coloured Harry with my promarkers and all the patterned papers are from Lisa's CD's. - all Lisa's papers are fab and they all co-ordinate perfectly!
I made some bunting with the same papers and inked the edges with some Tim Holtz distress inks, Some banners and matching buttons (always handy for the men cards!!) and the card was done!
So why not join in with this nice and easy challenge and remember, you can enter any type of creation - it doesn't have to be a card. To be eligible for the draw. just make sure you use your Winsor and Newton products and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to visiting your lovely blogs and seeing all your gorgeous creations! Thanks for dropping by,

I've made a Graduation card for my friend's daughter and I've used this gorgeous image from Saturated Canary called 'Grad Girl'. I decided on a simple gold and black colour scheme and added a lot of black glitter to the mortarboard hat (like you do!)!
I embossed one of the background layers and added a scroll tied with black ribbon to match the image! I also added a tassel which I attached with a brad to match the tassel on the mortarboard!! I added a few pearls here and there (of course) and found some gold ribbon as the finishing touch.
So why not join in with this week's great challenge! You can enter using any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card. Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton products to be eligible for the prize draw.
I look forward to seeing your lovely creations.
Thanks for dropping by,
hugs, Karen xx

Sporting Occasions
Hi crafters,
A great new challenge starts today at Passion for Promarkers and this week and our lovely Donna has chosen the theme 'Sporting Occasions'.
We are kindly sponsored by Little Miss Muffet Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a $6 voucher to spend in their online store. They have some gorgeous images and you'll be spoilt for choice!
We were lucky enough to have an image to play with and I've used Candy Floss Crew Quentin on my card this week. He was great to colour in and I was very brave and used black for the first time ever!! The papers are from Lisa's CD Boys2Men and they were a perfect match with the image on his jumper!!
I added some black ribbon, twine and some card candy and a die cut border. The sentiment is also from the CD and I coloured it to match my card colours!
So why not join in with this week's challenge. Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card. To be eligible for the prize, make sure you use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme.
Thanks for dropping by,
hugs, Karen xx

'Add a Sentiment'
Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week's theme is a nice easy one - 'Add a Sentiment'.
We are kindly sponsored by Bugaboo and they are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online shop.
Their images are fab and we were lucky enough to choose an image to use on our cards this week. I've made a 50th Birthday card for my cousin and added a Welsh Happy Birthday wish! I've used Tulip Hedgie and I absolutely loved colouring this one in! I've used my promarkers and added a little bit of white gel pen to add dots to the bow!
I then found some dotty ribbon to match and some WOC flowers in similar colours. I hope she likes it anyway!
So why not join in with this week's challenge - we all add a sentiment to our cards and we'd love to see your creations. Don't forget to use your Winsor & Newton products (formerly Letraset) and follow this week's theme.
Thanks for dropping by,
hugs, Karen xx

Challenge 397
Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge today over at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Nat has chosen the theme 'Make a kinetic card'.
We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store.
They have some gorgeous images available and I've used one of them on my card this week.
It's called 'Fairy Swing' and I really enjoyed colouring this one!
I decided to make a 'Tent Fold' card to fit the theme of a kinetic card as I thought it would be perfect for the image. I wanted to make it look as though she was swinging happily from the branch!! I coloured her with my promarkers and added a little glitter here and there. I embossed the top layer and added some punched flowers to the little picket fence (still love this little die!).
Here a side view of the card so that you can see the tent fold style - it folds flat so that it will fit nicely in a box.
I even added a couple of clouds to add to the little scene (I blame Lisa for this hee hee!),
So why not join in with this week's challenge and make a card with a different fold or movement.
You can enter using any type of creation - it doesn't have to be a card, As always, you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your entries and good luck!
Hugs, Karen xx

Tag it
Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Lorraine has chosen 'Tag it'. A nice easy one, just add a tag to your creation!
We are kindly sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox this week and they are offering the lucky winner a 12 pack of promarkers (steam punk).
My card for this challenge is a Birthday card for my Dad and he's always enjoyed a bit of DIY so this image was perfect for him. It's a digi from Ella's Design which is on the Boys 2 Men CD.

I coloured the image with my promarkers to match his Black and Decker tools (other brands are available!) and used some papers that I got on Saturday (thanks Clare!). I cut out a tag shape and embossed the top to add some texture. I inked the edges with a 'Stormy Sky' Distress Ink. I added some craft candy in matching colours as well as a saw charm that I've been saving for ages for one of Dad's cards. (I wonder if he would mind me asking for it back sometime lol!!).
I also added some glossy accents to the image but my photography skills fail me I'm afraid!
So why not join in with this week's challenge. Just make sure you use your Winsor and Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme. I look forward to seeing your creations as always.
