A few enamel dots were the finishing touch!

'Anything other than Christmas'

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda would love to see your cards on the theme of 'Anything other than Christmas'.  A great chance to get those new year birthday cards ready!

We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's HOS and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

The Design Team were lucky enough to use one of their images for our cards this week and I've used an image called 'Bathtime Deirdery'

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter!  I fussy cut her out and popped her onto some embossed card.  I found some paper I thought looked like wallpaper and added diecut borders and corners, as well as some paper flowers.  The edges were all inked and I also diecut some rubber ducks for embellishments!!
I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but be sure to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!

Fall / Autumn Colours

Hi crafters,

Our lovely Kitty has chosen the theme of 'Fall/Autumn Colours' for this week's challenge at Passion for Markers.  We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their images on my card and this one is called 'Perfect Walk'

She was fun to colour with my promarkers and I fussy cut her out for the card.  I found some gorgeous autumnal backing paper which I really didn't want to cover so I die cut a stitched rectangle and placed it to one side!  I die cut some clouds and banners and inked all the edges with some distress inks.  I added a bit of glitter here and there and stamped the sentiment - I also added some doodling before adding them to the card!
I hope you are able to join in with this week's fun challenge!  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

Add some doodles

Hi crafters,

Hope you are all keeping well and ready for a brand new challenge!  I'm in the hot seat at Passion for Markers this week and I've chosen the theme of 'Add some doodles' for your creations!

I really enjoy adding some doodles on my cards - sometimes you just need something extra and a bit of doodling is a great finishing touch!

We are kindly sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store|!

All the Design Team members have used the same image on their cards this week and it's called ' A Cheerful Snowman'.

Here is the card I made:

I've used a layout from our last workshop which I thought was perfect for this little snowman!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and then fussy cut him out.  I added some doodling on the left hand side of the card and found some christmas papers for the right side.  I diecut some snowflakes and glittered them up and stamped and fussy cut the Christmas wording.  I placed a strip of black card along the bottom of the snowman to ground him and finished off with some pearls!

I hope you can find time to join in with this week's challenge - just add some doodles here and there and tell us what markers you've used and you'll be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Use a Rubber Stamp

 Hi crafters

This week's challenge at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Lisa G and she has given us the great theme of 'Use a Rubber Stamp'.  This is a great excuse to get those stamps out for a change as we can get so used to using digital images on our cards!

We are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die For and they are offering a great prize for the lucky winner.

I made a birthday card using some flower and leaf stamps and coloured them with my promarkers.  I fussy cut them out and added them to my card using a sketch from a previous workshop.  I added some stencilling behind the flowers and coloured some diecut butterflies to match the colour of the flowers.

I hope you can find time to dig out those rubber stamps and join in with this week's great challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers - just remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
