Add a button or 2!

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by the lovely Jacky and the theme is 'Add a button or 2!'  A nice and easy challenge - I think I add a button onto most of my cards!!

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week from the 'Edwin and Hetty' set and it was a lovely one to colour in.  As my card was for a new baby boy I decided to colour my little elephant in blue!!

I used an MS punch on the card base - not done this for ages and I'd forgotten how effective it is!  I added the little boy's name to personalise the card and added some corner and heart dies as well!    A little bit of glitter, some pearls and a couple of buttons (of course) finished off the card.  I hope they liked it anyway,

Why not join in with this fab challenge - remember you can enter using any type of creation.  Just make sure you use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and follow the theme!

There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the theme has been chosen by the lovely Elaine and she wants you to add lace, ribbon or twine to your creations!

My card has been made for a friend's Mum on her 70th Birthday.  She is a very keen sewer so I thought this image by Ella's Design was perfect for her.
I've coloured the sewing machine with my promarkers and added pearls and glitter to the design!  I even got MY sewing machine out and stitched a lot of the layers for the card! I added some diecut cotton reels and wrapped them with threads in matching colours.  Some buttons, pins and a tape measure added to the sewing theme and I even added a little wooden sewing machine as well!

Some lace (of course) and a few WOC flowers were also added and the sentiment is welsh for Happy Birthday!  I hope she likes all my sewing embellies anyway!
