Hi crafters,
Well this month has certainly flown by and even the clocks go forward at the weekend!  Let's hope we get some lovely sunny Spring days next month.
It's Tuesday again which means a brand new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers.  This week's theme has been chosen by our lovely Elaine and she would love to see your cards for a child, with added stitching - real or faux.  We are very kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a $6.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I used an old DSB image called 'Hetty and Cupcake' on my card this week which I coloured with my promarkers.
I used some papers from 'The Works' and used a stitched die to frame the image,  I made some bunting out of the papers and also used the same papers to die cut the flower.  Some buttons and gems were added and the sentiment is from one of Lisa's CD's.  I also added a bit of glitter on the cupcake icing!!
You can enter any creation for this challenge, just remember to use your Winsor and Newton products to be eligible for the prize - as well as following the theme of course!
I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your gorgeous creations this week,
Hugs, Karen xx

Shaped Cards

Hi crafters,

Anyway, this is my card for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers.  Our lovely Nat has given us the great theme of 'Shaped Cards' so as long as your card base is not a basic square or rectangle, you will be in with a chance of winning a great prize!  We are ,kindly sponsored this week by All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store.
They kindly sent us one of their gorgeous images for this week's challenge and I've used 'Feeling Spoilt' for my card this week.
I coloured the image with my promarkers and added a touch of glitter here and there!  I found some flowers to match my colour scheme and die cut the numbers which I also glittered!!
I added various pearls and a ribbon to the glass die cut - this was a magazine freebie and I've used this die so much!
Don't forget to enter this week's challenge and remember, to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton products.

Something beginning with L

Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week and our lovely Lorraine has chosen a nice and easy theme - 'Something beginning with L'
We are kindly sponsored by The Paper Shelter and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images form their online store.  Their images are fab and we were lucky enough to use one of their images on our cards this week.
The Paper Shelter

I've used Pepe L'Souris on my card and he's such a cute little image!  I've used my promarkers to colour him in and added a bit of glossy accents to his nose!
I used a layout from a recent workshop and punched out some flowers in the same backing papers.  I've added a mixture of pearls and coloured gems as well as a cute little polka dot button!

My card has L for a lace diecut, L for lunch and L for leaves!
So why not join in with this week's challenge and be in with a chance of winning this great prize.  Remember you can enter using any type of creation but as always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

I've made a Welsh Birthday card for my brother this week and the image has been coloured with my promarkers.
I added some glossy accents to make the bottle shine and the papers are from 'The Works'.  I added some twine and a wooden star as a finishing touch!  Because I had so many stars on the card, the film had to be 'A Star is Born'!!  The best film I've seen for a long time - absolutely fantastic!
So why not join in with this nice and easy challenge -remember you can enter using any type of creation but as always to be eligible for the prize draw, you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products.

Masculine Cards

Hi crafters,
It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and our lovely Kitty has given us the fab theme of 'Masculine Cards'.
We are kindly sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 gift code to use in their online store.  They have some amazing images and the design team have all used one of their images on their cards this week so make sure you check out their blogs!

Bugaboo

I've used one of their images called ' Giraffe Blocks' on my card and this is a birthday card I've made for my hubby!
I've created the background using some distress inks and a stencil that was a freebie in a magazine this month,  I couldn't find the right papers so I thought I'd make my own giraffy looking background!!  I did some doodling in the corners to match those on the images and heat embossed the sentiment in white.  I added a wooden heart button just to finish it off!
We all struggle with cards for the men in our lives so why not use this challenge as a good way of making some masculine cards and be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize,
I look forward to seeing some of your fab creations!

Add a Sentiment

Hi crafters,
Happy New Year to you all!
Well here we are in 2019 and it's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers.
I've chosen the theme this week and it's a nice and easy one to start us off in the new year - "Add a sentiment".
We are kindly sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox and they are offering the lucky winner a pack of  6 Promarkers in Pastel Tones.

Cowling & Wilcox logo

I made a Welsh Birthday card for my Mother-in-Law and added the sentiment to a banner die.  I coloured the butterfly background with my promarkers to match the papers and added a butterfly die over the top.

I used a text stamp for the circle background and used an embossing folder on the white card.  Some coordinating flowers and a button finished off the card.
I'm looking forward to getting crafty again now that the festivities are almost over and I hope that you can find time to enter this fab challenge.
I look forward to seeing some of your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen xx
