Hi crafters,
Well it's been another busy couple of weeks. We've taken our youngest son back to Lincoln to start his second year of Uni and we've been down to Oxford for my eldest son's graduation. We had such a lovely day and it really was a day to remember!
I'm back into my crafting to take my mind off the fact that both my boys are away from home! There's a great new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Lorraine C has given us a theme of 'Include a number'. We are kindly sponsored by Cowling and Wilcox and there will be 2 lucky winners this week. 1 will win a pack of 6 promarkrs in Neutral Tones and 1 winner will win a pack of 6 promarkers in Vibrant Tones.
I've made a 1st Birthday card for a friend's daughter this week and used an old Digistamp Boutique image,
I decided to go with a white and yellow colour scheme and found the perfect dotty paper for the background. I embossed some white card for one of the layers and added some punched flowers and swirls. I added a bit of glitter to the image and die cut the number one, A bit of ribbon and some pearls for the flower centres finished off the card.
So why not join in with this week's challenge, You can an enter using any type of creation but as always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!
Hugs, Karen xx

Fave Colour Combo
Hi crafters,
Well the time came at the weekend for my youngest son to return to Uni for his second year and I was very brave!! The house is very quiet now that both my boys are away. Ah well, more room for my crafty stash, hee hee!!
It's also time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Linda would like your creations to have your fave colour combo - nice and easy!
We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store - a fantastic prize!
We were lucky enough to have one of their images to use on our cards this week and I chose this gorgeous digi called -Alice the Alpaca'.
I chose my fave colour combo of pink and green for my card. I just used a bit of Tea Green promarker for my Alpaca to match my papers and added a bit of glitter here and there! Aren't all alpacas this colour?!!!
I added a grass diecut as well as a pearly border to the bottom of the card and a bit of ribbon and heart diecut on the top. The sentiment stamp was a magazine freebie and the enamel dots just finished it off.
So why not join in with this fab challenge and be in with a chance of winning a great prize. Just remember to use your Winsor and Newton products on your creation and I look forward to visiting your blogs.
Hugs,
Karen xx

For the Boys
Hi crafters,
It's time for a great new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week's theme has been chosen by our lovely Kitty - 'For the Boys'. We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.
We were lucky enough to have one of their images to play with and I chose this one called 'Dino'.
Isn't he cute!! I used a layout from a recent workshop and kept the colours quite monochrome. I coloured the image with my promarkers and added just a teeny weeny bit of glitter to his spikes! I put the stars onto strips of acetate and added a couple of buttons too! Here is another photo showing the fold of the card,
So why not join in with this week's challenge to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize. You just need to use your Winsor and Newton products and of course, follow the theme!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen xx

Glitter/Sparkle
Hi crafters,
Hope you're all enjoying the summer and managing to find some time to craft! I'm hosting this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week and I've set a nice, easy theme of 'Glitter/Sparkle'. I'd love to see your creations with either glitter on your images or sparkly embellishments - it's completely up to you!
We are kindly sponsored by Crafty Sentiments and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store. They have some gorgeous images so you'll be spoilt for choice.
This is a card I made for my niece as a Get Well Card. I've coloured the stamped image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter to the flower and at the base of the image. We used this layout at our recent workshop and I thought it would work well with these papers. I made the straws - they're not brilliant but they're not too bad (just need a bit more practice!).
So why not join in with this week's challenge - if you're anything like me I add glitter onto nearly every card!!
Whatever you make - it doesn’t have to be a card - but as always to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) and don't forget to follow the theme!
I look forward to seeing all your gorgeous creations.
Hugs,
Karen xx

Spots and/or Stripes
Hi crafters,
Apologies for the late post! I've been away on holiday and I thought I'd scheduled this post but I obviously hadn't!
Anyway, this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by our lovely Jacky and she would like you to use 'spots and/or stripes' on your creations this week.
We are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die For and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
This is a great theme and it would be great if you could join in and be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize. Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card. As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your lovely creations!

This card is one I made for my gaming-mad son and I thought this LOTV image 'Oliver Game Boy' was perfect for him! I coloured the image with my promarkers and found some papers in matching colours. I added some black stars and corners and a couple of candy dots in the corner. I also added the Happy Birthday text onto a die cut banner.
I look forward to seeing your lovely creations!

Vibrant Colours
Hi crafters,
Where are these weeks going? Things have been a little bit crazy lately and my crafting time has been very limited! My eldest passed his degree with First Class honours, he has a new job in the Lake District which he starts next week, we found a flat for him to rent there and he passed his driving test before he goes!! We will be taking him up to Cumbria tomorrow - aaargghhh!!
I did manage to get my card done ready for the fab new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, Our lovely Elaine has chosen the theme of 'Vibrant Colours' - nice and easy.
We are kindly sponsored by Little Miss Muffet Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a $6.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I used a layout from a recent workshop and coloured the image with my promarkers. I added a bit of stitching to add texture to my card and inked all the papers with distress inks. Some enamel dots in the centre of the punched flowers were the finishing touch!
Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations for this challenge.

Add a Sentiment
Hi crafters,
Hope you're all enjoying this gorgeous weather we're having and managing to keep cool!
With the World Cup and Wimbledon on the TV - I'm quite happy to be watching a bit of footie and tennis whilst crafting too!
It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion For Promarkers and our lovely Donna has chosen a nice and easy theme 'Add a Sentiment'.
We are kindly sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store. Their images are fab and you'll be spoilt for choice with this prize.
We were lucky enough to have one of their images to play with and I chose this fab digi called 'Tucan''.
It's a great fold for a masculine card as there are plenty of details and I didn't feel the need to add anything else!!
So why not join in with this fab challenge. Just add a sentiment to your card and remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card but as always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products.
Thanks for dropping by!
Hugs,
Karen xx

I used a layout that we used at a recent workshop and made this card for my Dad. I coloured the image with my promarkers and found some papers in matching colours which I inked with Walnut Stain distress ink. The card in the centre opens so that I could write a little message and I added the sentiment cut from a stitched circle die. Here's a view of the card when closed.
