Hi Crafters,
Well I'm really not sure about this card, wasn't even sure whether to put it on my blog! After seeing Lisa's CAS cards recently on her blog, I was inspired to try one myself but I think its too simple! Tried it with a corner die, some twine and even buttons but had to stop myself and remember that this card was going to be clean and simple! I wish I was happy with it though because it didn't take very long to make - it looks like it too though doesn't it? Oh well, at least I tried! I'd like to enter this card in the Joanna Sheen Challenge which is for a 'Father's Day' or male card. Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Karen xx

18th Girly Card
Hi Crafters,
I made this 18th Birthday Card with a new stamp I got at Port Sunlight - thought it would be handy for my girly cards! I coloured the image with my promarkers and paper pieced their dresses to match the background papers. I added some WOC flowers, stickles, matching ribbon and some pearls - job done!
I'd like to enter my card in the Passion for ProMarkers challenge which is 'floral fantasy' (use at least 5 flowers'.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Russian Dolls
Hi crafters,
I've got something a bit different this time! I was asked to make a card with a Russian doll theme and this is what I came up with - what do you think?
I made them with some Lily of the Valley papers, I used my MS punch and embossed the background behind the dolls. I punched some flowers and distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz ink. I coloured the faces with my promarkers but this was the only bit of colouring I did which was a bit weird! I'd like to enter my card in the Joanna Sheen blog challenge which is 'Spots and Stripes'.
Thanks for looking,

Coffee House Mouse!
Hi Crafters,
I made this House Mouse 60th Birthday Card for a coffee lover and created the sentiment on my PC to tie it in with the image! I made a gate-fold card for a change and the image is from a House Mouse decoupage sheet. The flowers are all from WOC and the leaves are a Cheery Lynn die. I'd like to enter this card in the House Mouse challenge which is 'Flower Power or Flour Power'.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking,

Pamper Yourself
Hi Crafters,
This is a card I made for my sister's Birthday last week. I love this stamp called 'Alyssa relaxing' from Digi Stamp Boutique, so handy for a girly card. The caption comes with the digistamp so all I needed were some WOC flowers, some stickles for the bubbles and glossy accents on the wine glass and bottle! I'd like to enter this card in the 'Girls, girls, girls challenge on the Joanna Sheen Challenge blog.
Thanks for looking, hugs Karen xx

Girly Birthday Card
Hi crafters,
This is a Welsh Birthday card I made for my niece and I've taken inspiration from Lisa's brilliant blog 'Ellas Design'. Lisa runs a brilliant workshop every month and I learn so much every time - thanks Lisa! (And Sylvia of course!). I've used a Saturated canary image and coloured it in with my promarkers. I've used a spellbinder die for the sentiment and the heart die is form Memory Box. I've used my MS punch around the card and I found some ribbon in my stash which matched the papers perfectly! I'd like to enter my card in the 'Passion for Promarkers challenge which is 'to die for'.
Thanks for looking,

Buttons and string!
Hello again crafters,
This is a card I made for a man's Birthday - I always find male cards so hard to do! I heard someone say once that when you make a male card, swap the flowers for buttons and swap ribbon for string, so that's what I try and do! The papers are from Hot Off The Press and I coloured the image with my Promarkers. I used my PC to create the text and added a few extra truffles here and there.
I would like to enter my card in the Passion for ProMarkers challenge which is "button it up".
Thanks for looking,
Hugs, Karen xx
