Floral vibes

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and it's my turn in the hot seat this week!  I've chosen the theme 'Floral vibes' and we are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I made a Birthday card using one of their gorgeous images and this one is called 'Sunflowers'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and then fussy cut them out.  I inked the background and added some stamped text to go behind the sunflowers.  I then stamped the sentiment and added some enamel dots.  A bit of glitter was also added!!

I hope you can join in with my challenge this week,  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but remember to include a hand coloured image to be eligible for the prize. You can enter any type of creation it doesn’t have to be a card and have fun!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Hugs, Karen x

Hi crafters,

Our lovely Elaine has chosen the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Markers and Elaine would love to see your creations using your 'Fave embellishments'.

We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's HOS and they are offering the lucky winner 1 digi image from their online store.

I've made a Birthday card for my golf mad brother and this image called 'Hole in one Hal' was perfect!

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added white highlights here and there with a gel pen.  I fussy cut the image and placed it on an embossed diecut circle to make it look like a giant golf ball!!
I diecut some smaller circles (more golf balls!!) as well as some clouds and grass and added them to my card and these are my favourite embellishments.  I also diecut a triangle shape and cut a thin piece of black card to resemble the flags on a golf course!
I had great fun creating this card and I hope my brother liked it!!

I hope you can join in with this week's fab challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but you must follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

Happy crafting!

Under the Sea

 Hi crafters

Our lovely Wendy has chosen this week's theme for the new challenge at Passion for Markers and Wendy would love to see your creations with images from 'Under the Sea'.

We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World 101 who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this one is called 'Ashera'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter as well as white highlights here and there.  I inked the background and added some gems to look like extra bubbles!  I added a die cut frame and the sentiment is from LOTV.  I also created an inky background but then managed to cover most of it!!

I hope you find time to join in with this fun challenge!  You can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

Have fun and I'll see you soon.

Hugs, Karen x

Animals

 Hi crafters,

Our lovely Nat has chosen the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Markers and Nat would love to see your creations featuring animals; it can be your focal image, your patterned paper, ribbon or even die cuts.  Remember though that your entry must include a hand-coloured image to be eligible for the prize draw.

We are kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps and Di is offering one lucky winner a £6.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

I've made this Birthday card for a lovely friend who absolutely loves hares and I thought this image was perfect!

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added some white highlights here and there with a gel pen.
I found some co-ordinating papers and inked all the edges.  I stamped the sentiment which I think is actually one of my favourites!

I hope you are able to join in with this week's fab challenge and remember, you can use any of your markers and just have some fun!

See you next time!

 Hi crafters

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Kitty has given us the fab theme of 'Use flowers'.

We are kindly sponsored by Polkadoodles and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I've made a card using one of their gorgeous images this week and this one is called 'Ruby Sweet'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and went for a different colour combo for a change!  I added a die cut flower and added a centre using the same dotty paper!  I found some enamel dots that matched and the sentiment is from LOTV.  I also added a bit of doodling around the edges!

I hope you can join in with this fun challenge and remember, you can use any of your markers - just make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Fave Colour Combo

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn in the hot seat this week at Passion for Markers and I've chosen the theme of 'Fave Colour Combo'.  I know we have a different favourite regularly so I'm looking forward to seeing all your creations for this challenge!

We are kindly sponsored by Clearly Besotted who are offering the lucky winner a £15 voucher to spend in their online store.

This is a Welsh New Baby card I've made for a friend in work.

I used an old DSB image and went with a yellow and white colour combo as it's one of my favourites - especially for a new baby card!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and also colored the cute dies with the same yellow marker to make sure they matched.  I embossed the background and inked all the edges.  I've left a gap (hopefully) so that I can add the name of the baby to personalize the card and make it a bit more special.

I hope you can join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!
I look forward to visiting your blogs!

Happy Birthday

Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Elaine from Team 2 has given you the theme of ‘happy birthday’.  Elaine has given you a super easy theme this week, make a creation for a birthday !  We hope you’ll have fun and can’t wait to see what you create this week. Please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card, but whatever you make you must include a hand coloured image to be eligible for our prize draw. So come on, grab your markers, and have fun!

Our generous sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter who sadly have now closed their store.  The prize on offer therefore is the image that the DT were given to use called 'A Curious Cake' which is perfect for birthday cards.

This is the card I created this week.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter and white highlights here and there!
I used an arch shaped diecut as I thought it looked like a cake dome?!!  I found some matching papers and also used a swirly embossing folder for one of the layers.  I wrapped a ribbon around the centre and finished off with some coloured pearls.
I hope you can find time to join in with this fab challenge and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!
Hugs, Karen x
