Christmas in July

 Hi crafters,

We have a new challenge at Passion for Markers which has been set by our lovely Wendy.  She has given us the fantastic theme of ‘Christmas in July’.  Wendy knows that's it’s never too early to get started on those Christmas cards and although we know some of you have been making them all year, some of you haven't started yet, so come on and get your entries in!  Don’t forget you can make anything you want, it doesn’t have to be a card, all creations are welcome.  We hope you’ll have fun and can’t wait to see what you create this week.  The only rule we have is that you must have a hand coloured image on your creation.  So grab your markers, join in and have some fun!

We are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

I've used this fab image called 'Snowmen Selfie - image no 100'

I had great fun colouring this image with my promarkers and adding lots of glitter!!  I added some snow by flicking a white pen over the image and all the edges were inked with a 'Vintage Photo' ink pad,
I die cut some leaves and a poinsettia and finished off the card with some enamel dots.

I hope you can join in with this week's fab challenge.  Don't forget you can use any of your markers but remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this week's amazing prize!

Crafty hugs,
Karen x

Favourite colours

 Hi crafters,

This week's challenge over at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and she would love to see your creations done in your 'favourite colours'.

We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World 101 and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

We were lucky enough to have one of their images to play with this week and I've used this one called 'spring bouquet'.

I really enjoyed colouring this one with my promarkers and decided to use some stronger colours for a change!  I've recently joined a lovely group who meet up to colour images with promarkers and I've really learnt so much about using different colours.  I added some white dots to the flowers as well as some highlights here and there and plenty of glitter to the butterfly of course!

I found some coordinating papers and ribbon and added some doodling around the edge of the card!

I hope you can find some time to join in with this nice and easy challenge|!  Remember, you can use any of your markers, just let us know what you've used in your post and don't forget to follow the theme.

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Hugs, Karen x

Add a Number

 Hi crafters,

We've got a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda has given us the fab theme of 'Add a Number'.  A nice easy theme and we are kindly sponsored by  The Paper Shelter who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

We were lucky enough to have one of their gorgeous images to play with this week and this one is called 'The Queen Bee'

I coloured this fab image with my promarkers with lots of glitter added to her wings.  I used a template for the hexagons and I thought they'd look good as a beehive pattern to go with the image!  I found some co-ordinating papers in my stash and used some paper that had some numbers on it to go with the theme!
I added some die cut flowers and added some enamel dots here and there to finish off my card.
I hope you'll be able to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers - just tell us what you've used on your blog and most importantly - follow the theme and have some fun!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

I loved colouring this image with my promarkers!  I found some matching papers and die cut a couple of stars as embellishments.  This is a card for my brother-in-law and I was really happy with how it turned out!
I hope you'll be able to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers - just let us know what you've used in your post and don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

Go dotty

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for MarkersPassion for Markers and it's my turn in the hot seat!  I've chosen the theme 'Go Dotty' for this week - nice and easy!

We are kindly sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I've made a 30th Birthday card for a friend this week.

The image has been coloured with my promarkers and I did some paper piecing for the dresses to go with my dotty theme!  I added some glossy accents to the wine glasses and some glitter here and there.  I die cut some flowers and added some black enamel dots to the centres, I also added a couple of dots around the image.  I personalised the card to make it extra special too!

I hope you can join in with this week's challenge.  Remember you can use any of your markers - just let us know in your post what you've used.  Have fun and remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Hugs, Karen

Birthdays

 Hi crafters,

I'm here to let you know about the brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  This week, our lovely Elaine has given us the nice and easy theme of 'Birthdays'.

We are kindly sponsored by Digi's House of Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

The Design Team were lucky enough to use their images on our cards this week and I've used this one called 'Cheshire Cat'

I printed the papers from Lisa's Animal Antics CD and coloured the image with my promarkers. The sentiment is also from the CD and I thought it was perfect for this image!
All the papers have been edged with distress inks and I added a touch of glitter too!
I hope you can join in with this week's fab challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.
See you soon,
