Challenge 386 - Add lace, ribbon or twine

Hi crafters,,

There's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the theme has been chosen by the lovely Elaine and she wants you to add lace, ribbon or twine to your creations!
We are very kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

                                                        Di's Digi Stamps

My card has been made for a friend's Mum on her 70th Birthday.  She is a very keen sewer so I thought this image by Ella's Design was perfect for her.
I've coloured the sewing machine with my promarkers and added pearls and glitter to the design!  I even got MY sewing machine out and stitched a lot of the layers for the card! I added some diecut cotton reels and wrapped them with threads in matching colours.  Some buttons, pins and a tape measure added to the sewing theme and I even added a little wooden sewing machine as well!

Some lace (of course) and a few WOC flowers were also added and the sentiment is welsh for Happy Birthday!  I hope she likes all my sewing embellies anyway!
Please join in with this nice and easy challenge - don't forget to use your promarkers and follow the theme,
I look forward to seeing your lovely creations.
Hugs, Karen xx

Challenge 384

Hi crafters,
There's a great new challenge at Passion for Promarkers today and our lovely Donna has chosen a fab theme  'In the pink',  We are very kindly sponsored by Bugaboo this week and they are offering the lucky winner 4 digi images from their online store.  It'll be hard to choose them though as all their images are gorgeous!

Bugaboo

I've used one of their lovely images on my card this week entitled 'Happy Birthday to Ewe'.

I decided to have a pink sheep, of course and added lots of glitter!!  I used my promarkers and added a little bit of chalk for the pink cheeks!  My fence die came out again as it seemed fitting to use with the sheep and I added some extra flowers here and there.  After my last 'Clean and simple' card I threw everything on this one - flowers, a banner, pearls and more glitter!!  I think this style is more me but I'm determined to try some more CAS cards - it's good to challenge yourself sometimes and come out of your comfort zone!

So why not join in with this nice and easy challenge.  You can enter any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card,  Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and of course, follow the theme,  Please also state which Letraset products you've used.

Thanks for dropping by and I look forward to seeing your creations!
Hugs,
Karen xx

Challenge 382 - CAS Card

Hi crafters,
There's another challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week and Andie has chosen the theme 'Clean and Simple'.
We are kindly sponsored by 'The Paper Shelter' who are offering the lucky winner a $10 gift certificate to spend in their online store.

The Paper Shelter

We were lucky enough to have an image to play with and this one is called 'Retro Chic'.
I coloured her in with my promarkers and did some piercing around the image.  I don't really do CAS cards and so I had to walk away from my card before I added anything else, which was really difficult!!  No ribbon. no flowers and not even a speck of glitter!!  I just had to have something in the corner though so I added a couple of banners and a button in matching colours!

Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn't have to be a card.  As always, to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers) and don't forget to follow the theme.
I hope you can join in with this challenge and I look forward to seeing your creations!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!
Hugs, Karen xx

'All Creatures great and small'

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and it's 'All Creatures great and small',
We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up this week and they are offering the lucky winner 2 digi images from their online store  - choosing will be tricky though as they are all gorgeous!
We were lucky enough to have one of their digis to play with for this challenge and I've chosen 'Baseball Bear' - isn't he cute?
I've coloured him up with my promarkers and added a bit of chalk for his rosy cheeks!  I've added my new fence die that I got for Christmas - always wanted this one and a couple of banners at the top!
Some ribbons and of course a button (can't seem to make a male card without adding a button or two!) were the finishing touches to my card.
Why not have a go and enter this week's challenge!  Remember, you can enter any creation, it doesn't have to be a card,  Just remember to use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products and follow the theme!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!

Challenge 378 - Sports / Hobbies

Hi crafters,
Another week has flown by and there's a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  This week, Lorraine is the host and she has chosen 'Sports/hobbies' as the theme - a nice easy one!
We are kindly sponsored by DigiStamp Boutique and they are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their lovely online store.
We were lucky enough to have a digi to play with and I chose DIY Alf.  He's a great image to colour in and such a handy image for those tricky male cards!

I coloured Alf with my promarkers and used some new colours I had as a Christmas present from my lovely hubby! I distressed all the edges of the papers and added a corner die to each corner - just can't do those CAS style cards can I!! I added some ribbon and buttons and a Welsh 'Happy Birthday' sentiment.  This is a birthday card for my Father-in-Law and I hope he likes it!!
Well thanks for dropping by and don't forget to have a go at this week's challenge - all you have to do is use your Letraset products and follow the theme!
Good luck!
Hugs, Karen xx

New Challenge - 'Anything Goes'

Happy New Year crafters!!
Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and I hope Santa brought you all some new crafty goodies!!  It's been lovely having the family all together again with my eldest son being home from uni - although he goes back next Sunday and I'm dreading it!!  I've got used to having him around again!
Anyway, the decorations are down and it's time to get on with things again!
The first challenge of the year at Passion for Promarkers has been set by our lovely new Design Team member, Kitty and she has chosen 'Anything Goes',
We are kindly sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs and they are offering the lucky winner 3 digis from their online store.  They have some fantastic images and you'll be spoilt for choice!
I've used the cute 'Bundle of Hearts' image on my card and it's been coloured in with my promarkers. I've used a great layout that we used at one of our workshops and I've decided I'm going to try a lot of different shaped cards this year!  I added some glitter to the hearts (of course) and some ribbon and flowers finished off the card!
This is a different view of the card to try and show the style of card I've used!

Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to have a go at this week's challenge,    Remember to use your promarkers or any Letraset product and don't forget to say which product you've used on your creation!
See you soon!  Hugs, Karen xx

Mega Christmas Challenge

Hi crafters,
There's a very special “Mega Christmas challenge” at Passion for Promarkers starting this week which runs for a whole month and ends on 3rd January 2017!
The theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “use your dies/punches”.  You are welcome to make Christmas cards but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation as long as you follow the theme.  As time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x
So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

Wow we are sure you’ll agree our sponsors have been super generous once again this year!

So onto my card which I've made using a Tina Wenke stamp 'Winter Birdhouse' which has never been inked I'm ashamed to say!  It's a gorgeous stamp which I've coloured with my promarkers.  I added a lot of glitter for the snow and some glossy accents on the little red berries.  I wanted the Kraft card to show so I've just added a strip of paper on the centre of the card with a die cut border either side.  The red ribbon matches the bow on the image and I punched a lot of leaves which I thought matched the greenery in the stamp!  Some die cut poinsettias were inked and shaped across the top and I added some red berries that I got from a lovely florist stall in one of the Christmas markets!

So why not get your dies and punches out and join in with this great challenge!  The prizes are amazing and you've got until 3rd January!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!
Hugs, Karen xx
