Anything Goes - Special Anniversary Challenge

 Hi crafters,

There's a special 15th Anniversary Challenge over at Passion for Markers this week.

As it's a special challenge we have a really easy theme for you of "anything goes".  As the title suggests you can make anything you like this week as long you colour with markers.  We are hoping to see lots of entries but please note that as we have extra prizes up for grabs this week we are only accepting a maximum of 3 entries per person for this one challenge only.  Remember the only rule is colour your image with your markers and have fun!

We have some fantastic prizes from our generous sponsors:

I've made a Wedding card this week for my nephew.  The image is coloured with my promarkers and then I fussy cut it out and placed it over some stencilling.
I inked all the edges in the same ink and added a border across the front with a die cut sentiment.

I added some flowers and the card was personalised to make it extra special.

I added some pearls and glitter as the finishing touch!

I hope you can join in with this fab challenge this week and I'm sure you'll agree that the prizes are amazing.

See you soon,

Karen x

Birthdays

 Hi crafters,

I'm here to let you know about the brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  This week, our lovely Elaine has given us the nice and easy theme of 'Birthdays'.

We are kindly sponsored by Digi's House of Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

The Design Team were lucky enough to use their images on our cards this week and I've used this one called 'Cheshire Cat'

I printed the papers from Lisa's Animal Antics CD and coloured the image with my promarkers. The sentiment is also from the CD and I thought it was perfect for this image!
All the papers have been edged with distress inks and I added a touch of glitter too!
I hope you can join in with this week's fab challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.
See you soon,
Karen x

For a boy

 Hi crafters,

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Wendy has given us the fab theme of 'For a boy'.

We are kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a £6.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I made this new baby card for a friend using one of my favourite LOTV images.

I've used a layout from a workshop which includes lots of layers and die cuts!  I stencilled the background on the left and added a diecut frame, stars and teddy bear!  I made an envelope and personalised the card inside with baby's name, date of birth and weight.  I added some co-ordinating papers in blue and green and added some enamel dots as the finishing touch!
I hope you are able to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great fab prize!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Use a die

 Hi crafters

Our brand new challenge this week at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and she would love to see your creations using a die. A nice and easy challenge as I don't think I make many cards now without adding a die or two!

We are kindly sponsored by Rachelle Anne Miller who is offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to be spent in their online store.

I've used one their images on my card this week and this one is called ''Happy Birthday Creator - Characters' Digital Stamp '

This was great fun to colour with my promarkers and I fussy cut her out and added lots of glitter.  I added a pink background with my distress inks and added some white splatter to add texture.  I added some doodling around the edges as well as a die cut frame.  Some enamel dots and a couple of die cut flowers finished off the card!
I hope you can join in with this nice and easy challenge!  You can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Use 3 of anything

Hi crafters,

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda has given us the theme of 'Use 3 of anything'.  Linda doesn’t mind what you make this week as long as you have 3 of something on your creations.  It can be 3 images, 3 embellishments, 3 papers etc, it’s entirely up to you.

Our generous sponsor this week is Leann's World 101 and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Most of the DT have used images from Leann's World 101 on their creations this week.

I used this image called 'Roses' on my card this week.

I really enjoyed colouring these roses and wanted them to be the main focus of the card.  I decided therefore to stamp some text behind the image and did some inking too - this then made the roses pop! (hopefully!)  I stamped the large sentiment directly onto the card and embossed the smaller sentiment with white embossing powder.  Three enamel dots (to go with the theme) finished off the card.

I hope you can get some crafty time over the Easter break to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.

hugs, Karen x

Shaped Cards

 Hi crafters,

This week's challenge over at Passion for Markers has been set by our lovely Kitty and she would love to see your 'Shaped Cards'.

We are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I have used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Dahlias'.

I have made a twisted Easel Card and I coloured the image with my promarkers.  I printed an extra dahlia and mounted it on foam pads to give it some dimension.  I wanted the flowers to be the main focus so I kept my background papers in the neutral colours of grey and dark blue.  I printed the sentiments on the computer and added some pearls in the corner as the finishing touch!
It's a bit tricky to get a good photo of an easel card so this is how it looks when it lies flat!

Well I hope you can join in with this week's fun challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

Fabulous florals

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn in the hot seat this week at Passion for Markers and I have chosen 'Fabulous Florals' for the new challenge.

We are very kindly sponsored by Colour of Love and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I have used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Rory's Marigolds'

I coloured this gorgeous image with my promarkers and added touches of glitter here and there.  I kept the image white on white as I wanted the image to be the main focal point of the card.  I added some die cut banners in matching papers as well as a couple of enamel dots in co-orodinating colours.
I also stamped the sentiment directly onto the card using my stamping platform,
I hope you are able to join in with my challenge this week and don't forget, you can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x
