'Let's have some pink'

 Hi crafters,

Hope you're all doing OK and ready for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  This week, our lovely Elaine has give us the fab theme of 'Let's have some pink'.

We are kindly sponsored by Crafty Sentiments and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.  They have some gorgeous digis and the Design Team have all used one of their images on their cards this week.

I've used 'Fifi Bubbles' on my card this week and she's been coloured with my promarkers - with added glitter!!

I used a layout from a recent workshop which was just perfect for this image!  I found some lovely pink papers that went well together and inked all the edges with some distress ink.  I fussy cut the image and also decoupaged her shower cap!  I paper pieced the bath and added some shading with my promarkers.
This paper also matched her cap perfectly and I also added some die cut flowers in the same colours.  The sentiment 'Relax' was a magazine freebie and I printed 'On your Birthday' inside the card.
I'm really pleased with this card and I just love this Crafty Sentiment digi -she's so cute!
Well I hope you can join in with this nice and easy challenge this week.  You can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you again soon.
Hugs, Karen x

Christmas in July

 Hi crafters,

Hope you're all having a good week!  It's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Nat has given us the fab theme of 'Christmas in July' - a great excuse to make a start on those festive cards!!

We are kindly sponsored by Uniko Stamps and they're offering the lucky winner 1 stamp set (must be in stock).

I've used a Penny Black Stamp for my card and this one is called ' Caroling Trio'.  I've coloured it with my promarkers and added lots of glitter!

I used some music sheets that I bought from a charity shop ages ago as well as some gingham papers.  The edges were all inked with distress ink and I also die cut a poinsettia flower with some swirls.  The sentiment was a freebie with a magazine.
I feel happy now that I've made a start on my Christmas cards- must try and make some every month now!!

I hope you're able to join in the fun with this challenge.  Remember you can use any of your markers, just make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
See you soon!
Hugs, Karen x
