Lace and Flowers

Hi crafters,
Well if there's one thing that will keep us going during these strange times it's crafting!  I hope you are all keeping safe and able to finish all those crafty projects that we all have on the go!
There's a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers that you could enter.  Our lovely Linda has given us the fab theme of 'Lace and Flowers' - nice and easy!
We are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die For and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

My card this week is for my niece and it's a Welsh birthday card.

I've used some papers that I've had for ages - think they are Laura Ashley ones (I'm really trying to use papers from my stash at the moment!!).  I love grey and yellow together so I coloured the image in matching colours.  The flowers are either diecut or punched and I've added some yellow buttons to the centres!  I had an idea to diecut some squares and bows to look like parcels on the side but I don't know if I succeeded - you know when you have an idea but not sure if you've achieved it?  Oh well, it looked ok anyway so I added them to the card!  I've added lace along the centre but I've almost covered it haven't I!!  Oh well - you can just about see it on one side lol.
Some pearls and lots of glitter were the finishing touches to my card - hope she likes it anyway!
It would be great if you could join in with this week's challenge.  Just remember to use your promarker products and of course, follow the theme.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen xx

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Flowers of Spring

'Masculine'

Hi crafters,
Hope you are all keeping well in these strange times - I think crafting might help us all over the next few weeks.  We have a brand new challenge for you over at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Kitty has given us the great theme of 'Masculine'. Some of us struggle with making those male cards and sometimes a challenge can help us as it forces us out of our comfort zone!
We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi stamps from their online store.

I was lucky enough to have one of their images for my card this week and I've chosen this one called 'World's Best Dad'  This is a handy digi for all sorts of occasions - could be Birthday or Father's Day for example.

.I've coloured the image with my promarkers and fussy cut him out.  I've added some glossy accents onto his glasses and hopefully you can see that in this next picture!
I added some ribbon to match the colours of the papers and some string and card candy were the finishing touches!  I've made quite a few male cards lately and I've enjoyed making them (for a change!!).
I hope you can find time to join in with this great challenge and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Fave Colour Combo

Hi crafters,
Can you believe it's March already?  Let's hope the weather improves this month and gets to be a little more Spring like!
I have chosen the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and it's 'Fave Colour Combo'.  A nice and easy theme and if you're anything like me, your favourite colours change all the time!!
We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World 101 and they are offering the lucky winner 2 digi images from their online store.  They have some gorgeous images and the Design Team have used some of them on their cards this week.
No photo description available.

I've used this one called 'Bouquet' for a Welsh Mother's Day card and my favourite colour combo is pink and brown.
I've used a layout from our last workshop (thanks Lisa!!!) and fussy cut around the gorgeous image which I've coloured with my promarkers.  I did add lots of glitter but it doesn't show up in the photo!
I stamped a flower outline behind the image and white embossed the tag with some leaf detail.  The papers were a freebie from a magazine and some pearls and peel offs were the finishing touches!
I hope you can find some crafty time this week to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, it doesn't have to be a card but just make sure you use your promarkers to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
I look forward to visiting your blogs to see all your gorgeous creations!
Hugs,
Karen xx
