Lots of layers

Hi crafters,
Hope you've had a great week and are ready for another challenge at Passion for Promarkers.  Our lovely Linda has chosen a really easy theme for us this week and it's 'Lots of Layers'.  A great excuse to use up some of the lovely paper stash that we all have - I've decided I'm not buying any papers this year - I'm going to use up all the papers I already have, even the really nice ones that I haven't been able to part with up to now!!!
We are very kindly sponsored by Digi Stamp Boutique and they are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to use in their online store.  There are so many digis to choose from for absolutely every occasion and they are all such great images.

We were lucky enough to have an image to use for our cards this week so have a look at all the lovely Design Team cards for some ideas.
I've used 'Spring Bentley' on my card and I had a bit of a go at creating some fur for the little bunny!  I used my promarkers first for the base colour then I used my colour pencils to add the detail.

I found some coordinating papers to add the layers and added a trellis die behind the image (although I did a great job of covering it up!!)  I even got the sewing machine out and added some stitching to all the layers.  My little fence die came out again too and I added some punched flowers with gems to them.  Some matching WOC flowers were the finishing touch and a bit of glitter here and there!

I look forward to visiting your blogs to see all your lovely entries - remember it doesn't have to be a card, it can be any type of creation but to be eligible for the prize, you must use your Winsor & Newton products.

See you soon,
Karen xx

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenge - Anything Goes
Lil Patch of crafty Friends - Always Anything Goes

  1. Oh Karen, your card is absolutely beautiful! Little Bentley is PERFECT! I love his fur!!! Your papers are beautiful and the whole scene you've created with the little fence and flowers, is magical! Hearing that you're planning to avoid buying paper this year, but to rather use up all you have, gave me chills... I'm a bit of a paper addict, and I'd need more than a support group to manage that goal!

  2. Oh what a beautiful card. So many wonderful layers and such a sweet image and colouring. Thanks for sharing with us at Creatalicious, we hope you will join us again soon. Meighan DT
