Include gems or pearls

 Hi crafters,

Our lovely Elaine has chosen the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Markers and Elaine would love to see your creations including gems or pearls - nice and easy!

We are kindly sponsored by LOTV and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 4 digi images from their online store.  All their images are just gorgeous and you will certainly be spoilt for choice with this fab prize!

I've used one of their fab images on my card this week and this one is called 'Jasmine Coffee'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and inked the edges with some distress inks.  I found some matching papers and I've used a layout from an old workshop.  I diecut some flowers and leaves and added some pearls to the centres.

I hope you can join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget you can use any of your markers but you must follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.

See you soon,

Karen x

'All about love'

 Hi crafters,

The new challenge this week at Passion for Markers has been set by our lovely Wendy and she would love to see your creations on the theme of 'All about love'.

We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed up Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

I have used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this one is called 'Busy Little Bee'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and fussy cut her out.  I found some co-ordinating papers and added a diecut flower and button in the corner.  I added an LOTV sentiment and did some doodling on the dotty paper!  I also added lots of glitter to her wings but you can't see it in the photo!!

I hope you can join in with this fab challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

See you soon,

Favourite Colours

 Hi crafters,

Our lovely Nat has given us a fab new theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Markers.  She would love to see your creations using your favourite colours and we are kindly sponsored by Colour of Love who are offering the winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

Their images are absolutely gorgeous and I've used this one called 'Rory's Orchids'.

I've coloured the image with my promarkers and added some white highlights here and there!  These images are just so beautiful to colour and I used my new favourite colours of yellow and orange!
I inked all the edges with distress inks and added a couple of sweet LOTV tags for the sentiment.  This card is for my niece who's working in America for 12 months.  We are missing her so much so I'll post this to her with a few treats!!
I hope you're able to join in with this fun challenge this week.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this awesome prize.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!
Hugs, Karen x

'Include an insect'

 Hi Crafters,

A very Happy New Year to you all!  Hope you all had a relaxing and peaceful Christmas and are ready for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers.

This week's theme has been set by our lovely Linda and she would love to see your creations which includes an insect.  We are kindly sponsored by Clearly Besotted Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I've made a Birthday card for my nephew using an LOTV image called 'Just Chilling'.  He loves fishing so I thought this was perfect for him!

I coloured the image with my promarkers and inked all the edges with distress inks.  I found some coordinating papers in my stash - something I need to do more of this year!!  I added the dragonfly insect and embossed some brown card with a bubbles folder - and then covered it with more layers!!
The sentiment was done on the computer to personalize it!
I hope you'll be able to join in with this fun challenge.  Remember you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.
I look forward to visiting your blogs soon!
Hugs, Karen x

This is my card for the Mega Christmas Challenge:

I coloured these gorgeous little critters at a recent workshop and they are so cute!!  I found some matching dotty paper and diecut some holly and berries and the card didn't need much else really!  I die cut a sentiment in white and added glitter here and there for the finishing touch!

I hope you find some crafty time over the holidays to join in with this Mega Christmas Challenge!  Remember you can use any of your markers but your entry must include a hand-coloured image to be eligible for the prize draw; so grab your markers and have fun!

I would also like to wish you all a peaceful and happy Christmas and all the very best for 2025!

I coloured the image with my promarkers and used some autumnal colours!  I added some doodling around the image and found a backing paper in my stash that was similar to the colour of her hair!
I added a sweet sentiment as this card was for my lovely niece who is working in America for a year and we all miss her so much!
