Hi crafters,

A very Happy New Year to you all!  Hope you had a lovely Christmas and managed to find some time for crafting!!

Everything seems to be getting back to normal now and it's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers.    Our lovely Lisa G has chosen the theme of 'January blues' and would love to see shades of blue on your creations this week.

We are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die For and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I've made a card for my friend just to say 'Hello'.  We used to meet for coffee and lunch regularly for a good catch up but since the Covid pandemic, we haven't been able to meet sadly.  So I made this card for her to wish her a Happy New Year and update her on a few things - just like we would if we met up!

I used an anemone stamp that was a freebie with a magazine last year and used my promarkers to colour them as accurately as I could!  I used a layout from one of our workshops and chose some dotty blue paper for the background.  I inked some blue leaves behind the flowers using a stencil and added a lot of glitter!!  Some enamel dots and punched butterflies were the finishing touch to my card.

I hope you are able to join in with this fab challenge.  Remember you can use any of your markers on your creations, just don't forget to follow the theme to be eligible for this great prize.

Hugs, Karen x
