For a Man/Boy

Hi crafters,

Another week has flown by and it's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  Our lovely Nat has given us the fab theme of 'For a Man/Boy' and we are kindly sponsored by Polkadoodles who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this is one is called 'Hanging on a tree branch' .  I printed the cute panda twice and rotated one of them to suit my card!  The little pandas were coloured with my promarkers and I created the cloudy background with a stencil and distress ink.

I used a film strip die and mounted it onto black and green card.  Some co-ordinating enamel dots were the finishing touch to my card and I'm really pleased with how it turned out!

I hope you're able to join in with the fun this week and it's a great excuse to make some male cards!  Remember, you can use any of your markers, but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.  If you could let us know which markers you've used, that would be great too!

I look foward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Hugs, Karen x

Pink or blue (as main colour)

 Hi crafters,

A new week brings a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda is in the hot seat and she's given us the fab theme of 'Pink or blue (as main colour)'.

We are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die For and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I made this card for a neighbour who wanted a special card for his daughter-in-law!  I thought this image was perfect for a girly birthday and I coloured it with my promarkers.  I found some matching papers and added die cut flowers and leaves, as well as the wine glass!  I added glossy accents to the wine glasses and plenty of glitter here and there!

I hope you'll be able to play along with our challenge this week!  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the pink or blue theme to be in with a chance of winning a prize!  If you could tell us what markers you've used in your post too, that would be great!  I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!
Hugs, Karen x
