 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and I've chosen the theme for this week!  I'd love to see your creations using your favourite colours - nice and easy!

We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's HOS and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.  They have some wonderful images so you'll be spoilt for choice!

I've used one of their fabulous images on my card this week and this one is called 'Eunice the Unicorn'.

I wanted to use some rainbow paper behind the image but I couldn't find any - so I made my own!  I used my watercolour pencils to create it and I'm quite happy with the way it turned out!!

I coloured Eunice in with my promarkers and used a splatter technique on the background that we were taught at a recent workshop.  I added a rainbow gem, some coloured pearls and a stamped sentiment to finish the card.

Well I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with my challenge this week and I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your gorgeous creations.

Hugs,

Karen x

Spring Colours

 Hi crafters,

Well we are into February already and time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers.  Our lovely Elaine has chosen this week's theme and she would love to see your creations using 'Spring Colours'.

We are very kindly sponsored by Leann's World and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images form their online store.

We were lucky enough to have one of their gorgeous images to play with on our cards this week and I've used this one called  'Phoebe'.

I coloured her with my promarkers and some prismacolour pencils.  I added lots of glitter on the wings but it doesn't really show in the photograph unfortunately!  I found some lovely yellow polka dot paper and added some doodles to the border.  I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment and added some enamel dots to the corner,  A nice CAS style card which is unusual for me!!!

Well I hope you're able to play along with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers - just remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize.

I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your gorgeous creations!

Hugs, Karen x
