For Grandparents/older people

Hi crafters
Happy New Year to you all!!  Hope you all had a lovely break over the Christmas holidays and managed to fit in some crafty time!!  I didn't really get much time to craft as the boys were both home and I had to clear my craft space!!  Not that I'm complaining of course - it's been lovely having them both home.  I took my youngest to the railway station this morning as he's gone back to Uni and I bawled my eyes out all the way back to the car!!  It doesn't get any easier and I hate saying goodbye to them.  So it's crafting therapy for me to keep my mind occupied!!
Luckily, it's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week.  We had a fantastic number of entries for the Mega Christmas Challenge so good luck if you entered over the holidays.

Our lovely Linda has chosen the theme for the first challenge of 2020 and she would like to see your creations for Grandparents / older people.  We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digis from their online store.
Dr Digi's House of Stamps
They have a fantastic range of digis and we were lucky to be offered one of their images for our cards this week.  I chose 'Cricket Derek' and I think he's so cute!!

I love cricket myself so this image will be so handy!! I coloured Derek with my promarkers and resisted the urge to add glitter as it's a card for a male!!  I managed to find some backing paper that looked like cricket balls and was chuffed to bits!  I did some doodling around the edge and added a fun sentiment to finish.  I then walked away before I added anything else hee hee!
Well I hope you can join in with this fab challenge.  Don't forget to use your promarkers and follow the theme and good luck!
Hugs,
Karen xx

  1. Oh Karen, saying goodbye to our babies is SO hard! I go through exactly the same thing!!
LOVE your card and had a good giggle at the effort it took to walk away before adding any more. I identify with that too! Fantastic colouring and perfect paper! Wonderful sentiment!!
