Happy New Year to you all and I hope you had a lovely break over Christmas!

It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers and this week, we have a great sketch for you to follow.  We are kindly sponsored by Polkadoodles and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digis from their online store.

I've used one of their images on my card and this one is called 'Spring Bunch Gnome'

She was such a fun image to colour with my promarkers and I also added some white highlights here and there.  I followed the sketch exactly and chose co-ordinating papers to match my colour scheme.  I added some card candy and some pearls as the finishing touches.

I hope you are able to join in with this week's challenge, Remember, you can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning a prize.

DT Call - We also have a DT call this week which is very exciting!  We need a new member for our Design Team so if you would like to be considered, please add 'DT' after your name.  It's a great opportunity and you'll find all the information you need at Passion for Markers.

See you soon,

'Anything other than Christmas'

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda would love to see your cards on the theme of 'Anything other than Christmas'.  A great chance to get those new year birthday cards ready!

We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's HOS and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

The Design Team were lucky enough to use one of their images for our cards this week and I've used an image called 'Bathtime Deirdery'

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter!  I fussy cut her out and popped her onto some embossed card.  I found some paper I thought looked like wallpaper and added diecut borders and corners, as well as some paper flowers.  The edges were all inked and I also diecut some rubber ducks for embellishments!!
I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but be sure to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!
Good luck!

Fall / Autumn Colours

Hi crafters,

Our lovely Kitty has chosen the theme of 'Fall/Autumn Colours' for this week's challenge at Passion for Markers.  We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their images on my card and this one is called 'Perfect Walk'

She was fun to colour with my promarkers and I fussy cut her out for the card.  I found some gorgeous autumnal backing paper which I really didn't want to cover so I die cut a stitched rectangle and placed it to one side!  I die cut some clouds and banners and inked all the edges with some distress inks.  I added a bit of glitter here and there and stamped the sentiment - I also added some doodling before adding them to the card!
I hope you are able to join in with this week's fun challenge!  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

Add some doodles

Hi crafters,

Hope you are all keeping well and ready for a brand new challenge!  I'm in the hot seat at Passion for Markers this week and I've chosen the theme of 'Add some doodles' for your creations!

I really enjoy adding some doodles on my cards - sometimes you just need something extra and a bit of doodling is a great finishing touch!

We are kindly sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store|!

All the Design Team members have used the same image on their cards this week and it's called ' A Cheerful Snowman'.

Here is the card I made:

I've used a layout from our last workshop which I thought was perfect for this little snowman!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and then fussy cut him out.  I added some doodling on the left hand side of the card and found some christmas papers for the right side.  I diecut some snowflakes and glittered them up and stamped and fussy cut the Christmas wording.  I placed a strip of black card along the bottom of the snowman to ground him and finished off with some pearls!

I hope you can find time to join in with this week's challenge - just add some doodles here and there and tell us what markers you've used and you'll be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Hugs, Karen x

Anything Floral

Hi crafters,

We've got a great new challenge over at Passion for Markers and our lovely Elaine has given us the fab theme of 'Anything Floral'.  A nice easy challenge this week as most of us have floral digis or embellishments that we could use!!

We are kindly sponsored by Pattie's Creations and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

They have some gorgeous images and the Design Team have all used one of their images this week to give you some inspiration.

I've used one of their images on my card and this one is called 'Dogwood Branch'

I coloured the flowers with my promarkers and also stamped and coloured some leaves. I fussy cut them out and added them onto the card with foam pads.  I added a stencilled background and stamped some silhouettes of leaves behind the image.  I added some glitter, a stamped sentiment and some enamel dots too!
I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with this week's fab challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers - just make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.
See you soon.
Hugs, Karen x
