Christmas in July

 Hi crafters,

We have a new challenge at Passion for Markers which has been set by our lovely Wendy.  She has given us the fantastic theme of ‘Christmas in July’.  Wendy knows that's it’s never too early to get started on those Christmas cards and although we know some of you have been making them all year, some of you haven't started yet, so come on and get your entries in!  Don’t forget you can make anything you want, it doesn’t have to be a card, all creations are welcome.  We hope you’ll have fun and can’t wait to see what you create this week.  The only rule we have is that you must have a hand coloured image on your creation.  So grab your markers, join in and have some fun!

We are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

I've used this fab image called 'Snowmen Selfie - image no 100'

I had great fun colouring this image with my promarkers and adding lots of glitter!!  I added some snow by flicking a white pen over the image and all the edges were inked with a 'Vintage Photo' ink pad,
I die cut some leaves and a poinsettia and finished off the card with some enamel dots.

I hope you can join in with this week's fab challenge.  Don't forget you can use any of your markers but remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this week's amazing prize!

Crafty hugs,
Karen x

Favourite colours

 Hi crafters,

This week's challenge over at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and she would love to see your creations done in your 'favourite colours'.

We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World 101 and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

We were lucky enough to have one of their images to play with this week and I've used this one called 'spring bouquet'.

I really enjoyed colouring this one with my promarkers and decided to use some stronger colours for a change!  I've recently joined a lovely group who meet up to colour images with promarkers and I've really learnt so much about using different colours.  I added some white dots to the flowers as well as some highlights here and there and plenty of glitter to the butterfly of course!

I found some coordinating papers and ribbon and added some doodling around the edge of the card!

I hope you can find some time to join in with this nice and easy challenge|!  Remember, you can use any of your markers, just let us know what you've used in your post and don't forget to follow the theme.

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.

Hugs, Karen x
