Autumn Friends

 Hi crafters,

This week's challenge over at Passion for Markers has been set by our lovely Wendy and she would love to see your creations on the theme of 'Autumn Friends'.

We are kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a £6.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

I created this autumnal card for my son's girlfriend and thought it would be perfect for this week's theme.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added some highlights with a white gel pen here and there.  I found some co-ordinating backing paper and inked all the edges with some distress ink.  Some die cut flourishes, a flower and some ribbon were the finishing touches to my card.

I hope you are able to join in with this week's challenge.  Don't forget, you can use any of your markers but remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!
I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

Make it Masculine

 Hi crafters,

Another week flies by and so it's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers.  This week, our lovely Nat has given us the fab theme of 'Make it Masculine' and we are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Twiggy'

I really enjoyed colouring this image with my promarkers and was really pleased with how it turned out!  I found some suitable masculine papers to co-ordinate with my colour scheme and did the sentiment on my computer.
I hope you can join in with this week's challenge - it's great to make those tricky men cards sometimes!!
Remember, you can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Include a flower

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda would love to see your creations that 'Include a Flower'.

We are kindly sponsored by Leann's World and the prize this week is 2 of their digi images.

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this one is called 'Phoebe'.

I decided to use some different colours for a change and went with this green and black colour combo!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added lots of glitter to her wings!  I found some co-ordinating papers and added lots of diecut flowers to go with the theme.  Some enamel dots and a stamped sentiment finished off the card!
I hope you'll be able to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but you must follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
Have fun and I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Hi crafters,

This week's challenge at Passion for Markers has been set by our lovely Kitty and she would love to see your Shaped cards.

We are kindly sponsored by Dr Digi's House of Stamps who are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.  They have a fantastic range of digis and you will certainy be spoilt for choice!

I've used one of their images on my card this week and this cutie is called 'Patient Pets'.

This is a Welsh new home card I made for my son and his girlfriend who recently moved into their new flat!  They love cats and dogs so I thought this image would be just perfect for them!
I made a stepper card which is ideal for adding extra details and sentiments!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added the cat and dog die cuts which matched the image perfectly I thought!
I inked all the edges and added a few enamel dots as the finishing touch to my card.
I really enjoyed colouring this image and they both loved the card and have settled in really well in their new home!
I hope you'll be able to join in with this fun challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but you must follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!

Add a Button

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn to choose the theme this week for the challenge at Passion for Markers!  I've gone with a nice and easy theme of 'Add a button'.  A good chance to use up some of our button stash!!

Our generous sponsor this week is Polkadoodles and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Most of the DT have used images from Polkadoodles on their creations this week so don't forget to check them out at Passion for Markers if you need any inspiration!

I've used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'surprise gift'.

I really enjoyed colouring her in with my promarkers.  I added lots of glitter and some white dots to give her a polka dot dress!
I added some coordinating papers and even added some paper flowers! (Need to use up my stash of flowers too!)  I added some die cut clouds and a little picket fence as well as the buttons to match my colours!

I hope you are able to join in with my challenge this week!   Don't forget you can make anything you want, it doesn’t have to be a card, all creations are welcome.  The only rule we have is that you must have a hand coloured image on your creation.  So grab your markers, join in and have some fun!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Spots and/or stripes

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Elaine has given us the fab theme of 'Spots and/or stripes'.

We are kindly sponsored by Beccy's Place and she is offering the lucky winner a $10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.  There are some gorgeous images available - you will certainly be spolit for choice!

The Design Team were lucky enough to have one of her images to play with this week and I've used this one called 'Simple Daisies'.

I really enjoyed colouring this image with my promarkers.  It's a gorgeous image that would suit so many different occasions.
I couldn't find some stripy paper to match my image so I made my own with my promarkers!!  I used all the colours that I used in the image and just coloured a lot of lines!  I've never done this before but will definitely use this technique again!
I then die cut lots of banner shapes from the paper and added doodles to them!  I saw this design in a crafty magazine so thought I'd give it a go!
The sentiment is also from Beccy's Place - I just sized it up to go with my image,
I hope you can join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but you must follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.

Christmas in July

 Hi crafters,

We have a new challenge at Passion for Markers which has been set by our lovely Wendy.  She has given us the fantastic theme of ‘Christmas in July’.  Wendy knows that's it’s never too early to get started on those Christmas cards and although we know some of you have been making them all year, some of you haven't started yet, so come on and get your entries in!  Don’t forget you can make anything you want, it doesn’t have to be a card, all creations are welcome.  We hope you’ll have fun and can’t wait to see what you create this week.  The only rule we have is that you must have a hand coloured image on your creation.  So grab your markers, join in and have some fun!

We are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

I've used this fab image called 'Snowmen Selfie - image no 100'

I had great fun colouring this image with my promarkers and adding lots of glitter!!  I added some snow by flicking a white pen over the image and all the edges were inked with a 'Vintage Photo' ink pad,
I die cut some leaves and a poinsettia and finished off the card with some enamel dots.

I hope you can join in with this week's fab challenge.  Don't forget you can use any of your markers but remember to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this week's amazing prize!
