Spots and/or stripes

 Hi crafters,

This week's challenge over at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and she would love to see your creations with spots and/or stripes this week.

I've used one of their fab images on my card this week and this one is called 'Dunderton Decorators Ltd'

I coloured the image with my promarkers to match the scraps of papers I added behind him. (I hoped they'd look like wallpaper samples as he's decorating!!)  I added some doodling to my card and inked all the edges with distress ink.

I stamped the text to finish off the card.

Fun Folds

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Kitty has given us the fab theme of 'Fun Folds'.  There's so many different types of folds you can use on your cards so this should be a lot of fun.

I made a Welsh Engagement card and it's an easel card, which is quite tricky to photograph!!

I've used an image from LOTV and coloured it with my promarkers.  The flowers were diecut with an enamel dot added to the centres.  I kept the colour scheme quite neutral as I love pink, grey and white.  I added their names and a sentiment and a few heart shaped gems.

Favourite Colours

It's my turn in the hot seat at Passion for Markers this week and for this week's brand new challenge, I've chosen the theme of 'Favourite Colours'.  Nice and easy this week as I'm sure you all have your favourite colour combo!  

We are kindly sponsored by Colour of Love and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this one is called 'Rory's hollyhocks'.

Quite a few of the Design Team have used this image on their cards too this week so pop over to Passion for Markers for some more amazing inspiration!

My favourite colour combo (well, one of them anyway!) is brown, cream and pink.  I've added my layers onto kraft card and used a postage die set for the frame shapes.  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added some glitter here and there!  I coloured the flower to match and added some LOTV sentiment tags.  All the edges were inked too!

Anything floral

It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Elaine has given us the fab theme of 'Anything Floral'.

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week.  This one is called 'Daisy Panel'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and then did some masking so that I could stamp a text stamp behind the image.  I also inked a pinky background to make the flowers pop!  I added a mount with kraft card and finished off with some enamel dots.  I then stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in the corner of the card!

I've used one of their gorgeous images on my card this week and this one is called 'Stacked Frogs'

I coloured the cute frogs with my promarkers and added some white highlights to make them shine!  I added some gingham paper behind the image and added an LOTV sentiment.  Some enamel dots were the finishing touch to my card!!

Special Occasions

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers which has been set by our lovely Nat and she has given us the fantastic theme of ‘special occasions'. Nat would like you to make something for a special occasion such as a wedding, anniversary, christening or a special birthday.   

Please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card but whatever you make please remember you must include a hand coloured image to be eligible for our prize draw.  So come on, grab your markers, and have fun!

I made this Birthday card for my youngest who's just had his first little car!  I coloured an image from LOTV I thought would be perfect and added glossy accents and white highlights here and there!  I used one of my new dies from Craft Addiction as a background and die cut some stars in various sizes.  I added a welsh sentiment and personalised it with his name to make it extra special!

'Add Flowers'

It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Markers.  This week's theme has been chosen by Elaine from Team 2 and she has given us a theme of ‘add flowers'.  Elaine has given you a super easy theme this week and would like to see flowers on your creations.  It could be a floral image, floral papers or even die cut flowers (as long as you also include an image coloured with markers).  Hopefully this will be a popular challenge and we can’t wait to see what you make.  Please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card but whatever you make you must include a hand coloured image to be eligible for our prize draw.  So just grab your markers, join in and have some fun!

I coloured the image with my promarkers with glitter here and there!  I embossed and die cut the squares and added extra diecut leaves behind the image.  I inked a large text stamp and placed it on the card  behind the squares and added gems too!

Beach vibes

I've used a cute digi image from LOTV and this one is called 'Busy Bears Deckchair Dreaming'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added some white highlights here and there!  I created a cloudy background with my distress inks and added some freehand seagulls in the corners!  I stamped the Beach sign and fussy cut it after colouring it with my markers.  I found some co-ordinating papers and the sentiment is also from LOTV.

'Let's get in shape'

We have a very special challenge over at Passion for Markers this week as it's our 16th Anniversary.

I've used a cute LOTV image on my card this week.  My father-in-law loves tractors and so this image was perfect!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and coloured it in the same colours as a tractor he once owned!

I added glossy accents to the headlights and also added highlights with a white gel pen.

Some enamel dots, a sentiment and twine were the finishing touches to my card!

Please remember for this challenge we will only accept 3 cards/projects per person.  Also just for this one week we will not be choosing a Top 5 Passionista as we have lots of extra winners, however this will go back to normal next week.

Fave Colour Combo

I'm in the hot seat this week over at Passion for Markers and for this week's challenge, I would love to see your creations using your fave colour combinations.

All the Design Team have used one of their gorgeous images on their cards this week and I've used this 

one called 'Hammock Days'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and used colours to match my papers!  I added some leaf diecuts to hold up the hammock and added a fence diecut to create a little garden scene!  I diecut some flowers and coloured them in the same green, orange and pink colour combo which is my favourite at the moment!

Some enamel dots and a sentiment finished off the card!

Birthdays

I used one of their fab images on my card this week and this one is called 'fuchsias'.

I coloured the gorgeous flowers with my promarkers and added white highlights here and there.  I added some splatters to the card in the same colours and added a layer of embossed card underneath.  I mounted both pieces onto some black card and stamped this gorgeous sentiment onto a banner shape.  I finished the card with a button and some gems.

Easter

I made this cute Easter card using an image from LOTV and I coloured it with my promarkers.  

 I used some papers from my stash and I think this layout might be quite handy for using up those scraps of paper we collect!  

I added a scalloped die cut and the sentiment is from LOTV as well.  The inside of the card says 'at easter time'.

 I have made an Anniversary card for my husband using a gorgeous LOTV image called "Little Ted Together".

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added highlights here and there with a white gel pen.  I found some coordinating papers in my stash and printed a circular LOTV sentiment too.  I finished my card off with some twine and diecut hearts!
