Die Cuts and/or Punches

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn to choose the theme for this week's challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, I'd love to see your creations using your die cuts and/or punches.

We are kindly sponsored by All Dressed Up and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 2 digi images from their online store.

I've used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Potted Plants'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added some details with a white gel pen.  I chose some coordinating papers and diecut the lace border.  I also diecut some flowers and a pot to match the one in the image!  I stamped the sentiment in the corner and finished off with a couple of matching buttons.

I hope you can find some crafty time to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations,
Hugs, Karen x

Birthdays

 Hi crafters,

Our lovely Elaine has given us the fab theme of 'Birthdays' for the new challenge over at Passion for Markers this week.

We are kindly sponsored by Beccy's Place and she is offering the lucky winner a $10.00au voucher to spend in her online store.

All the Design Team have used one of her images on their card this week and I've used this gorgeous Flamingo from the set called 'Flockstar'.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added some white highlights with a gel pen here and there.  I found some matching papers and used a layout that we used in one of the workshops I attended a while ago.  Some doodling and enamel dots were the finishing touches to my card!  The sentiment comes in the same set of digital stamps from Beccy's Place with a choice of different flamingos which are all fab!
I hope you are able to join in with this week's nice and easy challenge at Passion for Markers.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

I made a stepper card which is ideal for adding extra details and sentiments!  I coloured the image with my promarkers and added the cat and dog die cuts which matched the image perfectly I thought!
I inked all the edges and added a few enamel dots as the finishing touch to my card.
I really enjoyed colouring this image and they both loved the card and have settled in really well in their new home!

Add a Button

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn to choose the theme this week for the challenge at Passion for Markers!  I've gone with a nice and easy theme of 'Add a button'.  A good chance to use up some of our button stash!!

Our generous sponsor this week is Polkadoodles and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Most of the DT have used images from Polkadoodles on their creations this week so don't forget to check them out at Passion for Markers if you need any inspiration!

I've used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'surprise gift'.

I really enjoyed colouring her in with my promarkers.  I added lots of glitter and some white dots to give her a polka dot dress!
I added some coordinating papers and even added some paper flowers! (Need to use up my stash of flowers too!)  I added some die cut clouds and a little picket fence as well as the buttons to match my colours!

I hope you are able to join in with my challenge this week!   Don't forget you can make anything you want, it doesn’t have to be a card, all creations are welcome.  The only rule we have is that you must have a hand coloured image on your creation.  So grab your markers, join in and have some fun!

I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations!

Spots and/or stripes

 Hi crafters,

There's a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Elaine has given us the fab theme of 'Spots and/or stripes'.

We are kindly sponsored by Beccy's Place and she is offering the lucky winner a $10.00 voucher to spend in her online store.  There are some gorgeous images available - you will certainly be spolit for choice!

The Design Team were lucky enough to have one of her images to play with this week and I've used this one called 'Simple Daisies'.

I really enjoyed colouring this image with my promarkers.  It's a gorgeous image that would suit so many different occasions.
I couldn't find some stripy paper to match my image so I made my own with my promarkers!!  I used all the colours that I used in the image and just coloured a lot of lines!  I've never done this before but will definitely use this technique again!
I then die cut lots of banner shapes from the paper and added doodles to them!  I saw this design in a crafty magazine so thought I'd give it a go!
The sentiment is also from Beccy's Place - I just sized it up to go with my image,
I hope you can join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but you must follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize.

I really enjoyed colouring this one with my promarkers and decided to use some stronger colours for a change!  I've recently joined a lovely group who meet up to colour images with promarkers and I've really learnt so much about using different colours.  I added some white dots to the flowers as well as some highlights here and there and plenty of glitter to the butterfly of course!

We were lucky enough to have one of their gorgeous images to play with this week and this one is called 'The Queen Bee'

I coloured this fab image with my promarkers with lots of glitter added to her wings.  I used a template for the hexagons and I thought they'd look good as a beehive pattern to go with the image!  I found some co-ordinating papers in my stash and used some paper that had some numbers on it to go with the theme!
I added some die cut flowers and added some enamel dots here and there to finish off my card.

Use a die

 Hi crafters

Our brand new challenge this week at Passion for Markers has been chosen by our lovely Nat and she would love to see your creations using a die. A nice and easy challenge as I don't think I make many cards now without adding a die or two!

We are kindly sponsored by Rachelle Anne Miller who is offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to be spent in their online store.

Use 3 of anything

Hi crafters,

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Passion for Markers and this week, our lovely Linda has given us the theme of 'Use 3 of anything'.  Linda doesn’t mind what you make this week as long as you have 3 of something on your creations.  It can be 3 images, 3 embellishments, 3 papers etc, it’s entirely up to you.

Our generous sponsor this week is Leann's World 101 and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Most of the DT have used images from Leann's World 101 on their creations this week.

I used this image called 'Roses' on my card this week.

I really enjoyed colouring these roses and wanted them to be the main focus of the card.  I decided therefore to stamp some text behind the image and did some inking too - this then made the roses pop! (hopefully!)  I stamped the large sentiment directly onto the card and embossed the smaller sentiment with white embossing powder.  Three enamel dots (to go with the theme) finished off the card.

I hope you can get some crafty time over the Easter break to join in with this week's challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.

hugs, Karen x

Shaped Cards

 Hi crafters,

This week's challenge over at Passion for Markers has been set by our lovely Kitty and she would love to see your 'Shaped Cards'.

We are kindly sponsored by Sheepski Designs and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I have used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Dahlias'.

I have made a twisted Easel Card and I coloured the image with my promarkers.  I printed an extra dahlia and mounted it on foam pads to give it some dimension.  I wanted the flowers to be the main focus so I kept my background papers in the neutral colours of grey and dark blue.  I printed the sentiments on the computer and added some pearls in the corner as the finishing touch!
It's a bit tricky to get a good photo of an easel card so this is how it looks when it lies flat!

Well I hope you can join in with this week's fun challenge.  Remember, you can use any of your markers but make sure you follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this great prize!
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
Hugs, Karen x

Fabulous florals

 Hi crafters,

It's my turn in the hot seat this week at Passion for Markers and I have chosen 'Fabulous Florals' for the new challenge.

We are very kindly sponsored by Colour of Love and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi images from their online store.

I have used one of their images on my card this week and this one is called 'Rory's Marigolds'

I coloured this gorgeous image with my promarkers and added touches of glitter here and there.  I kept the image white on white as I wanted the image to be the main focal point of the card.  I added some die cut banners in matching papers as well as a couple of enamel dots in co-orodinating colours.
I also stamped the sentiment directly onto the card using my stamping platform,
I hope you are able to join in with my challenge this week and don't forget, you can use any of your markers but don't forget to follow the theme to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize.
I look forward to seeing your gorgeous creations.
