'Use 3 of something'

Hi crafters,
It's time for a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Elaine would like to see you 'Use 3 of something' on your creations.  It could be 3 papers, 3 embellishments, 3 images - anything you like.  A great theme this week and we are kindly sponsored by Dies to Die for and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  This is a great prize as there are so many products to choose from and you'll be spoilt for choice!

I've used a couple of images of 'Alf'' on my card this week - the 2 on either end have been duplicated and the image in the middle has been put on foam pads to raise it a little bit.  I've made this card for my youngest son who has just had fantastic results in his recent exam at Uni. (It translates as 'You are awesome!!)

I coloured the images to co-ordinate with the background paper (which I made myself using a picture I found on the internet!  It has all the coding programmes that my son is using on his Computer Science degree course!!).  

A few banners, enamel dots and some black card candy were the finishing touches to my card - oh and some wooden stars of course!

The picture has made the card look a bit wonky for some reason but I promise it wasn't wonky in real life!!

So why not join in with this fab challenge this week.  Remember it doesn't have to be a card - just make sure you use your promarker products and of course, follow the theme!

Fancy Folds

Hi crafters,
Well like a lot of people I've no idea what happened to January!!  Can't believe it's February already but at least it'r getting lighter at night which is great!!
The new month also brings a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Natalie has chosen the fab theme of  'Fancy Folds'.
We are kindly sponsored by Uniko Stamps this week so why not join in and enter one of your creations,  Remember, it doesn't have to be a card but to be in with a chance of winning, you must use your promarkers and of course, follow the theme!

I've made this card for my sister-in-law's birthday and I think it's a tri-fold shutter card!  We made one at our recent workshop and thought it would be perfect for this challenge!

I've used a new stamp I got from a used stash sale and got a bargain!  I coloured her in with my promarkers and added lots of glitter!!  I added a variety of co-ordinating papers to the folds and the sentiment stamp was part of the set.  The 'it's your day' sentiment was done on the computer and the card underneath opens out so that you can write your message inside.

A banner and some pearls were the finishing touches to my card!
