Have a Heart

Hi crafters,
I'm back with a card for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  Our lovely Nat has chosen a nice and easy theme for this week entitled 'Have a Heart'.  It could be anything from papers with a heart design, heart embellishments or a heart in the image on your card - so why not join in and be in with a chance of winning a prize!

We were lucky enough to have some of their gorgeous images to play with and I chose 'You may kiss the bride'.

This Wedding Card has been made for a special couple as the husband is French and the bride is Welsh.  So I found some papers with the Eiffel Tower (of course) and on the tag behind the image, there is a verse from the Welsh National anthem!  This is the only way I could think of having something from the two countries on the card!  Hope they like it anyway!
I coloured the image with my promarkers and added plenty of glitter to the dress!  I added some organza ribbon to the tag, some WOC flowers and a few heart embellishments to finish off the card.  Oh and the base layer is embossed with a heart embossing folder and I added some pearls here and there.

Love and Kisses

Hi crafters,
Hope you are all keeping warm this week with this cold spell that we are having!
It's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week, our lovely Lorraine C has chosen a fab theme - 'Love and kisses'.  Perfect for your Valentines card or it could even just be a Birthday card!

We were lucky enough to have one of their gorgeous images for our cards this week and I've used 'A kiss for valentines' for my project this week.
I loved colouring this one in with my promarkers and those giraffes are too cute!  I love pink and cream together and so I decided to colour the giraffes in these colours as well!!  That's why I love colouring in so much i think - a bit of artistic licence now and then is great!!

I die cut some flowers out of the pages of an old book and inked the edges with 'Antique Linen' distress ink.  I embossed the base layer and inked the edges of all the papers as well.  I found some pearl brads for the centre of the flowers and a couple of pink buttons were the finishing touch!
So why not have a go at making a card using this theme and enter it in our challenge for this week.  You never know - you could win a couple of gorgeous digis!
