Hi crafters,
There's a very special “Mega Christmas challenge” at Passion for Promarkers starting this week which runs for a whole month and ends on 3rd January 2017!

Wow we are sure you’ll agree our sponsors have been super generous once again this year!

So onto my card which I've made using a Tina Wenke stamp 'Winter Birdhouse' which has never been inked I'm ashamed to say!  It's a gorgeous stamp which I've coloured with my promarkers.  I added a lot of glitter for the snow and some glossy accents on the little red berries.  I wanted the Kraft card to show so I've just added a strip of paper on the centre of the card with a die cut border either side.  The red ribbon matches the bow on the image and I punched a lot of leaves which I thought matched the greenery in the stamp!  Some die cut poinsettias were inked and shaped across the top and I added some red berries that I got from a lovely florist stall in one of the Christmas markets!

So why not get your dies and punches out and join in with this great challenge!  The prizes are amazing and you've got until 3rd January!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!

3 Favourite Colours

Hi crafters,
It's my turn to host the challenge this week at Passion for Promarkers and I've chosen a nice easy one - 3 favourite colours.  It can be a creation for Christmas, birthday or anything you fancy - just use your 3 favourite colours and your Letraset products.
Our generous sponsor this week is Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) and they are offering one lucky winner a 12 pack of Promarkers (neutral tones)
                        884955042915 W&N Promarker lifestyle_0255RLetraset prize week 373

My 3 favourite colours are brown, cream and pink!  I've made a Christmas card for my collection and the image is a Penny Black stamp.  There isn't too much to colour in really but I used my promarkers for the scarf and the snow!  The layout is from a recent workshop which is fab and the poinsettias have been inked with Antique Linen and a bit of pink on the edges.

Some glitter and a few pink pearls finished it off!  That;s another Christmas card done anyway!
Please join in with this week's challenge - can't wait to see your lovely creations.  Don't forget to use your Letraset products and follow the theme!

Challenge 371 - Cute animals

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by our lovely Elaine and the theme is 'Cute Animals'.
We are kindly sponsored by Digital Stamp Boutique and they are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store,  You'll be spoilt for choice as all their images are gorgeous!

                                                           DSB#

I've used a digi image from DSB called 'Bunnykins Baby Set' and I've coloured it with my promarkers - adding a bit of glitter here and there!  I added a couple of buttons to the wheels and also added a couple of blue polka dot buttons on one of the corners! I even got my sewing machine out and stitched round the backing papers.  I added a tag and stamped a welsh sentiment to it as I wanted the card to be bilingual - hope they see it though!!

I embossed a couple of the layers. added some ribbon and finished it off with some blue, cream and white flowers.  I added the new baby's name and weight to a couple of banners to personalise the card.  This was a special card as I am now a great Aunt thanks to little Alfie and I'm looking forward to meeting him soon!

So why not join in with this week's challenge and don't forget to use your Letraset products and follow the theme,  Please also let us know which Letraset product you've used on your creation.
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!

Challenge 369 - Photo Inspiration

Hi crafters,

This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by our lovely Donna and she has given us a photo inspiration.  Donna has asked us to use at least two colours on our creations or you can use them all of course!
Our sponsor this week is A Day for Daisies and they are offering the lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
                                                        ADFD
This is the photo inspiration from Donna.

I've used one of the gorgeous images from A Day for Daisies on my card this week called 'Pearls in my Hair' and I had a great time colouring it with my promarkers.  I also added a little bit of pencil on her hair .  I've used 4 colours from the photo inspiration and also added a bit of frantage to the edges!

I added a mix of diecut and punched flowers, some diecut swirls and some stringed pearls and a computer sentiment was added to the diecut banner.
So why not join in with this week's challenge and don't forget to use your Letraset products on your creation and of course, follow the theme. Please also state which Letraset product you've used.  I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Happy Halloween!

Hi crafters,
This week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers has been chosen by the lovely Andie and it's "Halloween or use Halloween colours".
We're sponsored this week by Digistamp Boutique and they are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  I love all their digis so you'll be spoilt for choice!
                                                DigiStamp Boutique logo

Well I love this time of year because I'm a Halloween baby, my birthday is on October 31st!!  Hee hee!!
I've used a fab image by Lisa which I've had for quite a while!  She's coloured in with promarkers and a bit of glitter here and there!!
I made the bats out of a butterfly punch and I've just cut the wings down.  I saw this idea on Pinterest so had to have a go!  I also made them sparkle with a bit of black glitter - like you do!
The black spider web adds a bit of texture and the sentiment is from the 'Year in Cards' CD by Ella's Design.

Well I had fun making this card so why don't you join in with this week's challenge and if you don't make Halloween cards, then just use Halloween colours i.e. oranges, blacks, purples etc.  Don't forget to use your promarkers and let us know what Letraset product you've used on your creation!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!

Challenge 365 'Spots and/or Stripes'

Hi crafters,

There's another great challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week and the theme is 'Spots and/or stripes'.
We are kindly sponsored this week by Uniko Stamps and they are offering 1 stamp set of the winner's choice.

I've used both spots and stripes on my card this week! I absolutely love polka dots but I love stripey paper too and couldn't decide which to use, so I used both!!
I've used a gorgeous Stamping Bella image called 'Uptown Girl Posh Has A Present' and she's been coloured in with my Promarkers. I added a die cut flower and some punched flowers which I love making at the moment and I'm adding them to all my cards!
I added a die cut border to the stripey paper and some ribbon too and added glitter to the swirly dies!  Some pearls and the sentiment were the finishing touch for this girly card and I hope they like it!

So why not have a go and enter this week's challenge.  Don't forget to use your Letraset products and follow the theme.
See you soon,
Karen xx

'Favourite Colour Combo'

Hi crafters,
It's a great new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers this week.  The theme is 'Favourite Colour Combo' so whether it's pink and brown, red and blue or yellow and white - you choose!
We are kindly sponsored by Digi Stamp Boutique who are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to spend in their on-line store and there are some fantastic digis to choose from!
                                                       DSB
My card has been made using one of their images from a set called 'Edwin and Hetty' and it was a fab image to colour in!  I've used a mix of my promarkers and flexmarkers and kept the colouring quite light.
My favourite colour combo is pink and grey - my front room is decorated in these colours as well!!
I've embossed the base card and added some checked and polka dot papers,  I couldn't find any grey card in the right shade so I remembered a trick we've been taught in my workshop and used the same promarkers that I used on the image, to colour the card to mount the image and papers on!!
I added some punched flowers, ribbon and swirly die cuts as well as some pearls for the finishing touch!  Oh and some glitter on the little pink heart, of course!!
I hope you can join in with this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers,  Don't forget to use your Letraset products and let us know where you've used them on your creation.
Thanks for dropping by!

Make us smile

Hi crafters,

I'm back with my card for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers - wow, these week's are flying by aren't they!!
This week's theme has been chosen by our lovely Lorraine C and it's "Make Us Smile",
We are very kindly sponsored by Aurora Wings who are offering the lucky winner $15 worth of digis.
As always, to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Letraset products and follow the theme!  Don't forget to say which Letraset product you've used on your creation.
                                                          AuroraWings
For my card. I've used one of the gorgeous images from Aurora Wings called 'Cupcake Sprite' and she was absolutely gorgeous to colour in with my promarkers.
I made the card in a recipe book style and we made one of these in one of our workshops ages ago so I thought I'd make another one!  The recipe includes - Mix together with a handful of smiles, so I thought it was perfect for this challenge!
I used a daisy punch for the flowers and added some chalk to the centres to match the colours in the card and a bit of bunting gave it the Bake Off feel (now that it's back on our screens!!),
As it's an Easel style card, I added another little book with the sentiment and a little die cut spoon! Some ribbon and pearls were the finishing touches and I inked the edges with Antique Linen.
I hope you like my little card - it was nice to make a different shaped card for a change!!
Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to enter the challenge!
Good luck
Hugs, Karen xx

One For The Boys

Hi Crafters,

It's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week's theme has been chosen by our lovely Lorraine B and it's 'One for the boys'.
We are kindly sponsored this week by Digi Stamp Boutique and they are offering the lucky winner a £10.00 voucher to use in their online store.

DSB

I've used a fab image from DSB called 'Golf Alf' and it's a great image to colour!  It was also ideal for my golfing mad brother so it was the perfect image for his birthday card!
I coloured Alf with my promarkers to match the backing paper and added a teeny bit of glitter to the grass!!  I embossed the white card with a circle pattern and added some white card candy which looked a bit like golf balls?!!  I distressed the edges slightly with Antique Linen and added some buttons in matching colours to finish off the card.  I usually struggle with the male cards but enjoyed making this one!

So why not join in with this week's challenge and don't forget to say which Letraset products you've used on your creation!
Thanks for dropping by and good luck!

                                                         All Dressed Up stamps
I've used the gorgeous All Dressed Up image 'For Your Wedding Day' for my card.  I needed it for a friend's Birthday so I decided to use this image without the text as she loves shoes!!  I went for a dramatic colour scheme for a change as I love grey and pink together - my favourite colour scheme!!  I also used my favouire WOC flowers, ribbon and pearls and added some gorgeous pink glitter to the heels!!  Wouldn't mind a pair of shoes like these myself!!

So why not join in with this week's challenge - just choose your favourite things and remember to tell us what Letraset products you've used.

Letraset         Michele R Designs

I've used a Tatty Twinkles image for this week's card and the gorgeous backing paper is from Michele R Designs from a collection called 'Shabby Pink Charms'.  This paper was so gorgeous I didn't want to cover it!!

I used my MS Punch to create the base card and I coloured the image with my promarkers.  I added some glossy accent to the sunglasses which you might just be able to see!  I added some co-ordinating flowers, ribbon and buttons and a few pearls to finish off!!
Here's another picture to try and show the shiny sunglasses!!
I hope you can join in with this week's challenge.  All you have to do is follow the theme and don't forget to say what Letraset product you've used.

'Yellow and Blue'

Hi crafters.
I'm back with a card for this week's challenge over at Passion for Promarkers and the theme this week is 'Yellow and Blue',  Our generous sponsor this week is Uniko Stamps and they are offering 1 (in stock) stamp set of winner's choice.
I've made a Welsh Birthday card for my cousin using an All Dressed Up digi image from the set 'Love To Shop' and it's been coloured in with my promarkers.  I added a few layers with patterned papers following the theme and made a flower to match!

I inked all the edges with Antique Linen and added some glitter and blue ribbon.  I even found some yellow pearls which were perfect as the finishing touch!  I tried all sort of different embellishments for the banner - yellow buttons, blue buttons, flowers etc but eventually found a pearl button which I was really happy with!!
Thanks for dropping by and don't forget to join in with this great challenge.  Remember to say what Letraset product you've used on your creation and good luck!
I'm also entering this card in the All Dressed Up challenge which is 'Anything Goes'.

Challenge 351

Hi crafters,

It's another Tuesday which means a brand new challenge at Passion for Promarkers!  This week's theme has been set by our lovely Andie and it's 'Inspired by a song title (not happy birthday).
We are being sponsored this week by Letraset, who are offering the lucky winner a Windsor & Newton Brushmarkers set of 6 (Rich Tones) and also by Bugaboo who are offering a $21.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  Wow, definitely worth having a go at this challenge!

Letraset
     Bugaboo
This is a card I made for Father's Day and when I went to see my Dad on Sunday, he was sitting in the exact same position as the image on the card - so funny!
My card is inspired by the song 'Relax' by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
I've used an image from Digistamp Boutique called 'Alf relaxing - dog' and it's ideal for those tricky male cards!  I've coloured it with my promarkers and added a teeny bit of glitter - can't stop myself can I!!  I just added a little bit of shadow on the dog as 'Poppy', their little pooch is white.
I added a couple of die cut corners and some buttons finished it off.  The text comes with the image which is brilliant and will come in very handy I'm sure!

It's a great challenge to play along with and don't forget to check the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what the Design Team have been up to!
All you have to do is use your Letraset products and follow the theme.  Don't forget to say which Letraset products you've used on your creation!

Thanks for dropping by and good luck with the challenge!

Passion for Promarkers - Anything but square

Hi crafters,

It's time for another Challenge at Passion for Promarkers!. This week's theme has been set by the lovely Sue and it's 'Anything but square'.
Our generous sponsor this week is Dies to Die For and they are offering the lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in the online store.

This is an engagement card I made for my nephew to congratulate him on his fantastic news!  I've used a lovely LOTV stamp and coloured it with my promarkers,  I used my Go-Kreate dies for the base card and I think I need some more of these as the shapes they have are fab!

The papers are by First Edition and I've also added a couple of embossed layers.  The squares with the couple's initials on are also from the paper pad 'Love Letters' and I thought it would add a special touch to the card, just to personalise it a bit more!  The bunting and a few pearls were the finishing touch and I hope the happy couple like their card!

So why not join in with this week's challenge and have a look on the Passion for Promarkers blog to see what the Design Team have been up to!

As always, to be eligible for the prize draw you must use your Letraset products and follow the theme.  Please can you help by stating which Letraset product you have used on your creation, thanks.

Thank you so much for dropping by and good luck!

Why not join in with this nice and easy challenge and don't forget to say which Letraset product you've used on your card.  Good luck !

Some matching ribbon and pearls finished it off and the butterfly die came in handy to fill in the space in the corner - it just needed something!

Things with wings

Hi Crafters,

This weeks' challenge over at Passion for Promarkers is 'Things with Wings'  and our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps, who are offering the lucky winner a $21.00 voucher to spend in their store.

                                                       Bugaboo

I decided to use 'Silver Fairy' by Whimsy Stamps and it's a lovely image to colour. I've used a great layout that we used at our last workshop and embossed all the different layers with various folders.
I inked all the edges with Tim Holtz 'Antique Linen' and added lots of stickles to the wings!
I wanted the fairy to stand out so I didn't want to use any backing papers on this card.  A little bit of ribbon, pearls and buttons finished it off and I stamped the text for a change instead of using the computer.  I think I might do this a bit more, for the text and for the inserts inside - be nice to use some more stamps!

It would be great if you could join in with the challenge and don't forget to say which Letraset products you've used.  There are some great samples from the Design Team on the blog as well.

I've also got some pics to show you of my brilliant new ribbon storage.  I'd seen something similar on Pinterest and showed the ideas to my Dad and guess what, he made some for me!!
I'm so chuffed with them and I couldn't wait to fill them lol.  I've kept similar colours together and they now take pride of place on my Craft table!  I'll be putting ribbon on all my cards from now on as they'll no longer be in a tangled mess in my basket!!

Anyway, I hope you all have a great week and I'll be back again soon!
Hugs, Karen xx
